Antalya, Turkey, is one of the most important tourist destinations. The Lara region boasts dozens of luxury hotels, and thousands of tourists vacation in Antalya hotels every year. Do you think a summer vacation in Antalya is a good idea? Staying in a hotel isn't the only option. There are many opportunities to explore Antalya through tour companies.
In fact, some hotels are designed to resemble structures all over the world. For example, a replica of the Kremlin Palace in Russia has been built in Antalya; its name is: Kremlin Palace Hotel. Similarly, there is another hotel called Titanic. Although its exterior doesn't resemble the Titanic, it is also designed in the shape of a ship.

You are obviously a very good ambassador for Turkiye.
I've never been but after your recommendation, I'm interested in visiting the country for a vacation.
But I do know Turkiye is a rich transcontinental country bridging Europe and Asia, with a history stretching back to the dawn of civilisation.
Turkiye was home to two of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The first coins were minted here in 7th century BC.
Saint Nicholas who inspired Santa Claus a 4th century Christian bishop was born on the Mediterranean coast of Turkiye.
The archaeological site of the legendary Troy is located in western Turkiye, and there is one of the world's oldest human settlements in this country.
Turkiye is obviously an interesting place to visit 🙂
Yes, all these are sufficient reasons to visit Türkiye. These are just a small part. The place where the Prophet Abraham was thrown into the fire, but the fire turned into water and the wood into fish, is in Şanlıurfa. Its name is Balıklıgöl (Fish Lake). Göbeklitepe, considered to be the world's first settlement, is also in Şanlıurfa. A comprehensive trip to Türkiye would probably take 1-2 months. Also, it can be very expensive.
I have talked to several world travelers who said that Turkey was one of their very favorite places. Great food, amazing architecture and history, gorgeous scenery, and the people were super friendly.
I would like to visit.
I recommend it.
This might help if you're planning a trip
The map is mostly accurate, but it's not sufficient to understand the whole country. I can explain it to you if you'd like. Feel free to ask any questions you have.
No avoid muslim countries.
My neighbour went to egypt on holiday with her two kids. While in the outdoor pool with her kids the lifeguard waded into the pool bedside her and stuck his finger inside her and groped her breasts.
While in the resturant in her hotel eating with her kids she had the bartender send some drinks down for her and her kids. She started feeling unwell and drowsey and managed to get to her room with her kids. She had been ruffied. 3 men of the hotel staff entered the room and gang raped her in front of her kids.
Its an alien culture and belief system.
This incident may have happened in a Muslim country like Egypt, but that's not true Islam. Such an event could happen even in the US. So, should no one go to the US? It's not Muslims who should be avoided, but immoral people.
Its a common problem westerner women encounter in muslim countries and with muslims in the west.
Not right now. Prices are insane because of hyper inflation
Prices are high in Türkiye, that's true, but there's no hyperinflation. If there were, food prices in restaurants would change constantly.
If you know better why are you askimg?
I wouldn’t go there to vacation alone by myself I’ve seen the midnight express that movie
How did you make a connection between that film and Türkiye? Besides, going on vacation alone would be boring.
Because that was a horrible movie the way they described turkey. It’s very scary if you’ve seen it.
Watching movies isn't enough to truly understand a country. I haven't seen that particular film, but it's a very old one. It tells the story of a man who goes to prison for possessing drugs (opium). Back then, Turkey was very chaotic. Things improved somewhat after 2000. Drugs are still considered a crime, but torture in prisons is no longer common. Also, if you don't commit a crime, nobody will do anything to you. If Turkey were that kind of country, no tourists would come.
That’s a true story
Yes, the story is true. But it's not right to make definitive judgments about an entire country based solely on this one story. If you look at it that way, there are films about India that portray it both beautifully and very negatively. The same is true for the US.
I would never go there.
Why?
Nope
