Halloween: Tired of the Basics?

I've been reading comments on GAG/online about people being tired of the same old classic Halloween costumes, so here are some fresh ideas. You could do the exact same or get other ideas from these. They are just my favorites that I have seen:

Josh Duhamel & Fergie as Karl Lagerfeld and his cat Choupette

I love this because I'm a fashionista and I think Fergie looks adorable/sexy in this outfit. I usually dress as a cat as well because cats just have the cutest ears. Josh's outfit is spot-on too, I mean, where did he get that wig? So, if there's a designer you like, you could dress as him/her (+ their sidekick).

Tim Burton characters

If you're a Tim Burton fan like me, you could dress as one of his characters. Ariana Grande dressed as a female version of her favorite character Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas last year, and she looked great! Personally, my favorite animated TB character is Emily (below). You could also dress as one of his human characters, like John Dillinger of Public Enemies.

Literature Classics

If you have any favorite literature classics, you could dress as one of their characters, like Daisy or Gatsby from The Great Gatsby. I think this is a very classy idea that will work as long as you keep it classy and not too sexy. ;)

You don't even have to be a certain person or character; you can just be a cute animal or a pretty lady with flowers in her hair, I don't know. Or pick a generation and dress in the style they did back then - I personally love Audrey Hepburn's style/generation.

I hope you all find your perfect Halloween costumes and have fun this year! As for me, I'll be attending a mini-ball in my Venice cat mask and a dress to match which I haven't found yet. Hope this helped in one way or another.
