Well Assad is fighting the Syrian/Al Qaeda Rebels and ISIS right now, how is that an threat to the west? the real threat to the west is when leftist governments are letting those Al Qaeda and ISIS "refugees" to enter into the west instead of letting them to be killed by Assad.

Let's don't kid ourselves, Assad is a dictator. He and Russia are trying to paint a different picture of him as a benevolent and just leader. But we all know this isn't true. There would be no civil war if Assad wasn't so power-hungry. People are so naïve these days.
