It doesn't. It just makes the problems worse. Be angry at the police who killed a man who shouldn't of died.
How does stealing TVS and Liquor help stop police brutality and racism?
Well first and foremost, claiming it was racially motivated is racism. The only evidence we have of that is that the cop was white. We don't have any evidence to my knowledge that this was racially motivated at all (But we do have evidence that they knew each other so it could very well have been personal). If what he did was racist simply because he was white and the victim black, that means that every black on white crime is inherently racist (and that's not something I see any one claiming). You can be a murdering piece of shit while also not being racist, those are not synonymous so we need to keep that in mind (the media loves to drum up claims of racism because it gets them money (and they being the pieces of shit fear mongering racist race baiting assholes they are, are more then happy to exploit terrible events and crimes for personal gain (they are having a field day with all these riots, not caring one iota for the people hurt and killed by them (I fucking despise the media).
That said I agree, racism is racism, it is wrong and we should not tolerate it no matter who its coming from (whether that be from a cop (if he is proven to have done something that warrants calling him a racist), or the black rioters/looters and the black lives matter activists who called for the deaths of white people. Both are wrong and should be treated accordingly.)). Rioting and looting is never acceptable (just watched video of a black retired firefighter crying because he sunk everything into his bar, it was his dream to run a bar and these pieces of shit human beings looted it and then had the audacity to come back while a film crew was their to try and break into the safe. That isn't right, they are hurting blacks more then any one else, they don't care about black people and that's probably the saddest part about this.).
This is just unacceptable and infuriating, they burned down homes (of blacks), destroyed their businesses (some of which were black owned, most of which were employing blacks), innocent people shouldn't have to suffer like this and quite frankly I will not be surprised if this (as its now spread across the country) ends up creating more racism. Its despicable.
You just said everything I feel. We had two officer involved shootings that invoked riots one in 2016 and one in 2018. And in the one it was a black cop, and the suspect had a stolen gun in his hand. But the media didn't immediately report the cop was black, why not? And they dragged white people from their cars and beat them. What did those white people have to do with a black cop killing a black suspect?
Exactly. That's a HUGE problem too. When I first heard about this my immediate response was that they were full of it, that he was perfectly justified because quite frankly, they cry wolf EVERY GOD DAMN TIME. That is dangerous, because now when we actually have a legitimate case of wrong doing (and after more information came out we know he actively killed the guy (and they apparently knew each other (both worked as bouncers at the same club apparently.(so I think this was probably personal.)), every one is convinced this is an epidemic when its not (we have 686 thousand police officers (to few in my opinion to police 327 MILLION people), you can probably name three or four police incidents and half of those were justified and the other half the police officers in question were charged and punished for wrong doing), and then they are further incited to violence because the media is coaxing it and pushing it along by not providing information, by claiming its racism when we have no reason to believe that it is (again, chances are this was personal and had nothing to do with race).
On top of that they actually tried to downplay this. MSNBC reporter claimed that they were primarily peaceful protestors as the police precinct LITERALLY BURNED TO THE GROUND BEHIND HIM. Its just mind blowing to me. If you claim all cops are the enemy, that now means that every cop has to be afraid that they are going to be killed which puts them on edge, that means every person who interacts with the police are going to be convinced they are going to get killed by them so they are on edge and uncooperative. How is that going to fix the problem? Even IF it was true that this is a common occurrence, and its not, your (the media) is just intentionally creating a powder keg just waiting for it to blow up. Then they turn around and claim racism is the motive and these looters are justified, all they are doing is destroying innocent peoples homes and businesses and taking innocent peoples lives all because they dont' want to point to this culture that is developing (which they helped develop) that is highly destructive. Its sickening.
The grand irony in all of this is that they are claiming that everything is racism and that this is why all this rioting and looting is happening despite the fact that we have the least racist society in the world right now (our previous president was black, we voted him into office twice, come on people lets stop blaming everything on racism and start taking some personal accountability). Yet this is going to fuel racism. The racists, the white nationalists the neo Nazi's are going to have a field day with this. They have been saying how blacks are inherently inferior and violent and criminal. Now when we say that isn't true they can just point to the twenty different cities that have been set on fire by black lives matters people (and Antifa) and what can we say? We know its this twisted victim culture and the media constantly whispering into the black communities ear that they are victims and every one is out to get them that is the problem but now we are going to more then likely see even greater racial tension and people are going to see racism as reasonable because after all of this, you have the governor of Minesota saying about these riots, "keep social distancing and remember to wear masks". I mean its almost as if they want a race war (and no one is going to win that, that is something that will only destroy society and hurt innocent people.). So now we have to worry about racial violence even more. Its sickening and I honestly wish their was some way to make people understand this but the media seems to want this and politicians seem to want this too. I honestly don't know the answer to this (I'm near Chicago right now and police in the suburbs are lining up in potential areas (businesses had to close up and people are now have to worry if they are going to have jobs in an already trying time because who knows if their business is going to be still standing after this.).
Sorry, I'm ranting, its just really frustrating, especially since we know the problem, we know what the solution is (i. e. don't be assholes (should be the easiest thing in the world but people seem to be struggling with it)), but it requires that others choose to do what is right and they simply are not doing that. I'm honestly concerned more for the long term of our country then this short term (and the short term damage is going to be very bad (people are already dying near me)).
I'm sorry to hear that people are dying near you 😞
Well its Chicago, its sadly the norm (but like I said the riots are spreading and we don't know where its going (I'm mildly concerned for my brother who lives in the city but I don't think he is going to be in harms way but the fact that this is a thing and other people will absolutely be in harms way simply because of where they live is infuriating to me. Especially since its all completely senseless, kind of makes you feel helpless.).
Explain it to you? Nope. There is ZERO explanation why these assholes think looting stores, burning businesses, trashing cars (police or others), has ANYTHING to do with why George Floyd died.
When the Governor of Virginia attempted to pass anti-gun laws several months ago, it was met with EXTREMELY peaceful, law abiding, gun-carrying group of people that numbered several hundred (FYI, nearly all were white). They followed the laws, no one was shot or hurt, they stayed in the areas where they were allowed to - legally - AND they left pretty much zero trash afterward. by the way, the media can't explain why so many people were carrying guns and none of them were used at all.
What's going on, is a complete failure with the black community. ANY time some "percieved" racial incident happens, there's a good sized part of the black community that thinks using that situation for riots is an excuse for them to get free shit. Personal private property destruction just comes along with that behavior. The thinking is, "they can't arrest all of us", so most of us will get away with this.
I'm sick of people justifying criminal behavior. And then I'M racist for saying looting, rioting, burning buildings down, shooting people is wrong. I have no problem with PEACEFUL PROTEST but that is not what happening. Using a man's death to commit crimes is horrible and sickening to me.
I agree with you 150%! None of this behavior will improve the situation, especially if it was racially motivated. The other position I can't stand is when a white cop kills a black person, it's ALWAYS because of race. Why? But it's OK when a black cop kills a white person. Apparently, that can never be racist.
The current riots are primarily due to the behavior from the black community. They HAVE targeted white people who were in the area - just because they were white. But for some reason that's NOT racist.
There's a real problem in the black community where a fair number of them think this way.
The media isn't helping one bit either, since they seem to WANT this racial divide constantly going on. Their reporting ALWAYS puts the situations along racial lines. Not telling the WHOLE story upfront is another hateful tactic they're playing to foment racism.
💯 agree in 2016 a man was shot and killed by police here. 1- the suspect ran from police, was armed with a stolen gun, the cop ordered him to stop and throw his weapon down and instead he turned and raised gun hand. The cop shot him. What the media failed to report right away was it was a black officer. And when they were looting and rioting they were pulling white people from their cars and beating them? What did white people have to do with a black cop shooting a black ARMED suspect? But WHITE people are racist?
This is partly WHY I own guns. 99% of the time, I never have any problems going downtown. Whites and blacks mingle all the time on weekends, and there's rarely any issues. Then, something like Minneapolis happens and it's like we're all suddenly enemies. So I keep guns available - IF needed.
We don't even know ALL the facts about what happened. All we know, is the media pushed what looks to be an extremely bad case of police brutality and that's it. Nothing else. We don't know what lead to that situation or why. Until then, breaking all the stores and buildings hasn't changed anything, other than make most of us wonder what's with a portion of the black community going stupid? Rioting and killing others certainly is NOT helping their cause/concerns!
I'm also in total disagreement with Cardi-B saying this is the only choice they had - to loot and riot! No, it's not the ONLY choice. But it's the one they chose.
Agree 💯
PLUS, almost all of the "protesters" arrested were not local folk. They were literally trucked in to incite the riots.
Just read you're in the Milwaukee area. Interesting. That's where I'm from. Don't live there anymore. Ome of my family still does. Nice to know we have something in common.
Lucky you you got out of this fucked up city
Honestly, I think most of the US cities are that way. I live in Dayton. It's just as screwed up as MKE. Its even worse in Columbus (about an hour to the east of me). I get up there a couple times a year, but living in WI is pretty expensive compared to OH. Just be glad it's not Chicago! I am so dang glad to get out of that place each time I travel to and from WI. Have fun this summer during the DNC. I don't care to be anywhere near that place then. Is Barrett still the mayor there? He's as bad, if not worse than DeBlasio in NYC.
🤣🤣🤣 yes and don't hate me through some distant, distant relation, "supposedly I'm distantly related to that man (supposed cus don't believe anything my biologic a father
Sorry messed up lol but to finish don't trust anything my bio far out younger sister say. But he was at my grandma's funeral, but then my grandpa was circuit clerk of court for over 30 years. See why I hate politics 🤷🏼♀️
Oh yeah... you've seen it up close and very personal. The corruption is unreal. You'd think the US is a 3rd world country based on how awful it is. I understand totally where you're coming from.
Thanks 🙂🙂
It has to do with the fact that people are angry at the injustice. For many years in the United States, police have been killing Black people unjustly and getting off scot-free for it. Several movements have been started to address this issue such as Black Lives Matter and many peaceful protests, but to no avail. People have attempted to pass legislation to mend the problems, but also to no avail. People have called for the police officers to actually be punished for their abuse of power, but they rarely get convinced of murder. People are fed up with being told that this isn't happening and that they're "playing the victim" when the evidence is clear as day. Their voices aren't being heard because they're being overshadowed by the majority pissing on people's legs and telling them it's raining. This basically encourages more police officers to kill more Black people under the belief that they can escape justice as well.
It makes the police force a great career option for those that aren't fond of Black people and want to get away with murder. Thus, a lot of people feel that if movements and groups, legislation, and calls for justice don't work, perhaps the next solution would be violent protest. The thing is I don't really agree too much with violent protests, but sometimes you have to understand that war is necessary. Sometimes, you can't make change by being peaceful. Europeans throughout history can relate to that. Europeans didn't colonize almost every nation in the world throughout history by being peaceful, nor did those subjugated fight for their freedom without being peaceful. Hopefully, these riots could serve as a lesson for police officers and others in positions of power to be on their best behavior in the future so they won't have to deal with this again.
You do realize this is the third time in 6 years we've had rioting and looting. If that's the answer, why didn't it bring change? And why never any mention of the other lives taken by the police? It's only a problem when it's a black person?
ALL Lives matter!!!
@Brainsbeforebeauty: Maybe there simply weren't enough riots or maybe they weren't violent enough to make a difference. The difference is that the only time police officers truly get off scot-free is whenever they kill a Black person. Whenever people of other races get killed by police, especially White people, most of the time, they're usually armed and the aggressor. If not, then usually police officers get punished for unjustly killing White people. However, despite the fact that statistics prove that Black people are 5-times more likely to be killed by police when they're unarmed, the police hardly get punished for it. If "all lives" truly matter, then there would be an equal level of playing field in how justice is served in these situations. Instead, we're literally at a point where police officers can get away with murder of a Black person by simply claiming that their lives were threatened and whenever the issue is addressed, we're "playing the victim." People are fed up. Why is it that the phrase "all lives matter" only comes up whenever Black people address the issues they're facing? It's just a reactionary phrase to distract from the problem at hand.
That's bullshit. All lives always matter! How come black lives matter only come up during cop killing. There was a black women and her 2 children both under age of six killed 3 months ago in my city. Where were the protests for their lives. Did their black lives not matter? No, because they were liked by her black boyfriend. But if it had been a white person or a cop? That would be the only way it would of mattered or got people to take notice? That's just wrong. All American lives matter black, white, Asian, Chinese. Where were the protests for the Chinese Americans that got attacked during this coronavirus? Fight the fight for all racism to stop. For all VIOLENCE to stop regardless of race.
* killed not liked a young black mom and her 2 black children. Where was their national headlines. Who fought for them?
@Brainsbeforebeauty: I already answered that question. Black Lives Matter is a movement that exists to address Black people being unjustly killed by police officers and getting off scot-free. With that, it's not that Black Lives Matter doesn't care about other crime. It's just that, most of the time, when citizens commit crimes against each other, justice is usually served and the perpetrators, when caught, are held accountable. However, when police unjustly kill Black people, they're very rarely held accountable. The Black Lives Matter movement exists because they want corrupt cops to be held accountable for their actions toward Black people. It's simply impractical to protest against something that already often has a solution. If the solution is to simply call the police, then why protest? You can't just simply "call the police" on a cop abusing his power because, as history proves, they often get off scot-free, especially when their victim is Black. That's why different groups are required to address certain issues. This isn't an "all lives matter" issue because, clearly, certain people's lives are valued more than others. If this wasn't the case, then most Black victims of police brutality would get justice. What you should be saying is that "all lives SHOULD matter," but Black people's lives have historically been shown to matter less. Why is that? Either way, we're fed up.
So burn down black owned businesses, loot from stores that serve the black communities. Does not the black life of the woman who couldn't get the medicine she needs not matter cuz they destroyed the pharmacy? And that's the way to change things? All black lives should matter, not just the ones taken by police. By the ones taken by any senseless violence. And no, people don't call the police, no snitch rule, RIGHT?
@Brainsbeforebeauty: Keep in mind I never said that I agreed with the riots. I actually think it's a shame that we need to riot to make change. Unfortunately, you're right that black owned businesses and the like are likely to be a causality. However, Black businesses are often insured and can be replaced. Black human lives destroyed unjustly by police cannot be. With that being said, it's just a temporary causality of war. Also, it's also not Black businesses being destroyed. Most businesses in America are White owned. I agree with you that all lives should matter, but unfortunately, they don't. Those that do genuinely believe that all lives matter express it in other ways. We don't always have to show that people's lives matter by protesting. If we see a Black woman get murdered on the street by another Black criminal, we show that her life matters by dialing 911 for her. If we think Black-on-Black crime is a problem, we show that their lives matter by creating youth programs to help Black people stay out the streets. When we notice that police officers are unjustly killing Black people more so than another race and get off scot-free, we show their lives matter by protesting and trying to get police to be held accountable.
But they're not. Just as many whites get killed by police, but don't protest that. Even though it's whites and blacks protesting together. So how bout you do that when a white gets killed by a cop and goes free.
https://youtu.be/7Ooa7wOKHhg
@Brainsbeforebeauty: No one said that White people didn't get killed by police officers unjustly. It definitely happens. It's just that statistics prove that it is five times more likely to happen to Black people when they are unarmed. Also, when it does happen, the cops are likely to escape justice at faster rates than non-Blacks. That proves that it is more of a Black issue, which is why Black Lives Matter gets involved. When a White person gets killed by a cop and gets off free, it's still terrible. You think I support White people dying unjustly? Of course not. It just doesn't happen as much. The thing is though White victims of police brutality could also benefit from the changes that Black Lives Matter have the potential to bring. If police are held accountable for the things that they mostly do to Black people, of course the same would happen if the do the same things to people of other races because the pressure would be on cops to do better. It's not that we're excluding non-Black victims. It's just that we're addressing the much more common victim that police are actually specifically targeting. It's not too much different than Klan lynchings. Sure, the Klan lynched people of different races, but the vast majority of the Klan's victims were Black. The fact that other races were lynched don't make Klan lynching any less of a Black issue.
@Brainsbeforebeauty: Let me give a good example, which is terrorism. One can probably agree that Islamic terrorism is a problem in many parts of the world. According to the statistics based on established groups and acts committed worldwide, most terrorists are Islamic. However, it's possible that people beyond Islam could be terrorists too. In fact, White people have engaged in acts of terrorism. However, does the fact that White terrorists exist make Islamic terrorism any less of an issue? I get that they are both bad, but one is more common than the other and need to be expressed in different ways. You need separate groups with separate viewpoints to deal with each version of terrorism and focus on the more common problem. This same analogy could be used for Black people and the many issues they face as well.
Ok that's a problem"police should be held accountable for what they mostly do to black people" you keep saying unarmed. Not all white people are armed and not all black people aren't armed. That man in that video was unarmed. Take "black" it of it. Police Brutality PERIOD. Oh, the shooting here 2 years ago a black ARMED suspect who turned with his gun up and the BLACK cop shot him. Funny they didn't report right away it was a black cop. Not till after the looting, burning, pulling white people out of their cars and beating them and others videoing laughing at the whiteys getting beat down. Now tell me how that's justified behavior in a situation like that. Tell me how those whites weren't treated racially. RACISM COMES FROM BOTH SIDES... ALL RACES NEED TO COME TOGETHER! Instead if black race, white race, HUMAN RACE!!
@Brainsbeforebeauty: I say unarmed because that's what the statistics show and because George Floyd was unarmed. Unarmed Black people are 5 times more likely to be killed by police compared to White people. It's basic fact. I'm not saying that anything bad that happens to White people is justified. I don't get why you don't understand that. I don't support the riots. However, I understand cause and effect. The riots are happening because of injustice. If you oppose riots happening, then oppose the things that lead to riots. Oppose injustice. Also, armed suspects are irrelevant to the issue at hand. George Floyd was unarmed and not even resisting arrest as the videos show. Do you support what happened to George Floyd?
Ok you need to JUST STOP! Anyone who doesn't agree with the way people are using violence to send a message of no violence must support what happened to that man. That is a ridiculous horrible thing to say to someone and so off base and unfounded. What happened to that man was horrific and appalling. Just as it was the WHITE man that have the same fate. Do you think it was less of a crime for the cops that killed him. So do you support what happened to that man cuz he was white, not black? See how assinine that would be if I say/believe that.
No apology needed, but if you can't discuss without trying to paint me as some racist, which is funny cuz I'm promoting equality for all, no violence for all, while you doing only for black people. So before you try to paint me a racist, ask yourself if you're racist against everyone but black people?
What are your thoughts on this image regarding racism? ↗
Here look at the sign this woman is holding. Now, would you ask "her" if she supports what happened to George Floyd? And if the answer is no, but you did that to me for saying the same things, because I'm white, well that's racism, isn't it?
@Brainsbeforebeauty: I agree with her image.
@Brainsbeforebeauty: I'm not accusing you of being racist. I don't know what your beliefs regarding race are. I don't know why you assumed that I was accusing you of racism. I also don't agree with people engaging in riots or any form of violent protests. However, I understand that violence and war in general, has throughout history, resulted in political and social change. I argue that while is indeed shameful that people feel they must resort to violence to make change, I accept that it might be the only possible solution at this point. I've also said many times that I don't support anybody being a victim of police misconduct, regardless of their race. My entire point was that because the statistics prove that Black people are 5-times more likely to be killed by the police when unarmed compared to members of other races, this is more of a problem that Black people face. For some odd reason, you seem to have a major problem with me saying that this problem affects Black people more than other people. You express that problem through reactionary sentiment rather than actually addressing the facts and saying "all lives matter" when, clearly, all lives don't matter to hateful people that abuse their power. What part of my points do you disagree with much that we have to argue about this?
So burn out innocent peoples businesses to prove a point, burn down their livleyhood, until eventually what do you think will happen? Those innocent people turn on black people, that's what will happen... Did you know China is expelling black people from their homes and businesses and blamed them for coronavirus , Where's the outrage, its not on your soil so you don't care right...
@Brokenheartedx: I never said that I supported the riots or destroying people's businesses and property. However, I also don't support the cause of these riots. Those innocent people shouldn't be turning on Black people because, for one, what's going on doesn't represent all Black people, and two, the majority of the people rioting are White. Yes, I am aware of what is going on in China and many Black people talk about it. There is outrage in the Black community based on what's going on in China. However, focusing on China right now when people here are being unjustly killed by police only serves as a distraction. Better question: Why should someone stop focusing on the issue with police misconduct and be "outraged" on the issues in China? Should we focus all our attention China and just let the police kill us unjustly? Why can't we just let the Africans deal with what's going on in China and let us focus on the issues that are killing us?
Then you should focus more on black on black crime. Because black people get killed more by other black people then they do by police. Look up statistics and facts before you start saying things. And there's white people rioting too but to say more white people are is not true.
@Brainsbeforebeauty: Black on Black crime is focused on. Many groups exist that address Black on Black crime. Churches, non-profit organizations, community centers, outreach programs, and even the government at times, etc. create programs all the time for Black youth to stay out the streets and stop killing each other. When Black on Black crime does happen, concerned citizens call 911 and justice is usually served. Obviously, we can't stop every single Black on Black crime from happening, but we're still concerned about it and try to solve the problems that do happen. At the same time, it doesn't matter if Black people kill more Black people than police kill Black people because unarmed Black people being murdered unjustly by police officers at 5-times the rate compared to others is still a problem. We shouldn't be told to focus on another issue simply because you don't like it when people address this one. Instead, we should be able to focus on both issues, but instead, straighten our priorities to deal with the issue that is more dangerous. It is worse when the organization with salaries paid by your tax dollars can kill you unjustly because they aren't fond of your race and get off scot-free, compared to the Black person that is very likely to be arrested and locked up for life for killing another Black person. With that being said, let certain groups focus on combating police brutality while the others focus on Black on Black crime at the same time rather than wholly distract from the issue at hand.
Ok look Im fucking mad/upset about George Floyds death but stealing or destroying WON'T bring him back.
To me it's just an excuse for anarchists to destroy everything and get out of control 🤷♀️
I agree. What happened shouldn't of happened. But what's happening now shouldn't either.
Thanks for MHO :)

I KNOW? RIGHT? Just angry people thinking it is OK to destroy property, because they are angry! NOT at ALL "PEACEFUL PROTEST!"
Yet our lame-ass, loser Police force just cowered, and hid, and let them burn down businesses, trash their cars, and even burn the Third Precinct!
I did see a few good guys, with their AR-15s and some with shotguns and hunting rifles defending some businesses, just like the Korean store owners did in the Rodney King LA Riots, decades ago! Those guys are the REAL HEROES!! Defending the local stores, in their neighborhoods, so they don't get looted! Putting their life on the line, when the Police are hiding!!!
Seems there is a LEGITIMATE NEED for AR-15's and semi-automatic rifles! When they police hide, and aren't there, what can you do but rely on yourself, and the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS!!!
Now, we have a Curfew at 8pm, Major Highways CLOSED, and about 5,000 National Guard on the streets, and some have used tear gas, and those angry bastards just run like the cowards they are!!
During the day, a lot of peaceful protests, and no violence or destruction!
Oh that's right. You live there don't you? Well, there's rioting and looting here too. We had 9pm curfew
Stay safe ♥️
@Brainsbeforebeauty Some issues a few blocks away, but I have mine, and loaded magazines, if needed. They don't seem to be messing with residential areas, but I am ready, if needed, and half my neighborhood is Grandma and Grandpa types! I have known these people for 20 years, and the police aren't at all reliable! They usually show up, after, and put up the yellow tapes! No National Guard in my neighborhood, and not sure if that is good or bad!!
I don't want to see soldiers on the street, but our cops seem to be hiding!!!
That leaves protection to the individuals, and why civilians NEED AR-15s and AK-47 SEMI-AUTO, NOT "ASSAULT WEAPONS" but rather "SELF-DEFENSE WEAPONS" when the police just wuss out, and HIDE!!!
Nothing, of course. Somehow, some people just think they have their "right" to trample the rights, property and livelihood of most people who LIKE to and WANT to work, earn a living, and just live in peace. Isn't it amazing that there is an inverse relationship between the category frequency of the crime and the amount of time the media spends spinning it?
All the violent actions have nothing to do with his memory or the issues about his death... it's just uncontrollable rage which only will hurt whatever causes any of the true protesters are trying to seek real positive change... it's a bit maddening even seeing as real change is needed but you can't get there with anarchy...
Once again, well said my friend ♥️♥️
This is happening in California, Pennsylvania, Chicago,
thank God I live 30 Miles from Pittsburgh Pa and away
from that place I live in a small City Population 4000
yes I agree people shouldn't be damaging and stealing
this isn't the right way to demonstrate and yes by all
means Mr. Floyd didn't deserve what happened to him
but now we got this to contend with these hoodlums
I'm in Milwaukee and it's happening here and it's the third time since 2016.
Wow that is something else
People who are doing such things are only gangsters trying to benefit from the situation, it's a disgrace for the death of george floyd and to the whole country...
The only person who should be judged and punished is the person who committed the unjustified crime against this man!
It's sad to see people like that who are always waiting to benefit from such chaotic situation to get their job done and such things occurs worldwide and not only in the U. S
Very true. Very sad but very true
It doesn't it's meant to be a stand against the government but it only hurts there cause and most of the time they end up looting black business, just hurting there own community
Agreed we on 9pm curfew here cuz of the rioting and looting here and cop got shot here last night... Shoot the cop that killed that man... Now you're doing what you're accusing the cops of doing... Targeting innocent people
Well i don't agree with what the poilce did (am not totally aware of the situation) however a lot of people who riot don't care about what happened and just want to get free shit.
Isn't that the truth
George Floyd was stealing he got caught so the cops beat him to death LMAO that's what happened LOL I know it's not the nicest way to get busted for breaking the law, but it has happened. I think they're making a big deal out of it for no reason because he's black if it was somebody white who cares LOL it's just stupid propaganda news
I He wasn't stealing. He was accused of passing a counterfeit bill. The police were not justified in there actions. But neither are the rioters and looters. But I do agree if it had been white man, wouldn't have the same results!
Oh I didn't know he was just passing fake money lol all of a sudden I just heard about this George Floyd guy and no the police shouldn't have done that but it does happen all the time unfortunately
It was a white boy no they wouldn't have beaten him LOL but there are some cops that are black that would beat a white guy LOL people are just making a big deal out of it because the poor guy was black. People need to get over it and stop they're crying. Especially if you're not doing something bad you just might be lucky enough to never get beat
It has nothing to do with it. I am not even sure why these people are even freaking out like this. The officer that killed Floyd was fired and charged for third degree murder. Predictably this didn’t satisfy them as they demanded his charge to be upgraded to first (which requires proof of premeditation and that is highly unlikely due to the entire event looking like it was all done in the heat of the moment) and all the cops involved to be charged as well.
You can’t please these people and it shows that all they want to do is to find a reason to tear stuff down. The police around the riots aren’t helping either, if anything they are the ones escalating it and not making themselves look any better.
Just like the Watts riots it is just an excuse to loot.
People are sick of the negligence and and lack of results in protesting peacefully. So now they are fueled by anger. They want to aggravate whoever it is because of that rage and desperation.
It's perfectly understandable.
It's also absolutely unjustifiable.
Fire fuels fire. Violence brings violence. The best thing that can happen is that the guys in charge do a cease fire and actually produce results to calm that anger
So, what result did they expect to see that would have kept the protest calm and peaceful?
Did the violent protesters hide within the peaceful protesters until it was time?
Right! I don't see how how any of this provides any justice. Why add more violence? It's just unnecessary.
Yes and I don't get how people don't get that. Even people I normally respect justifying it.
It's just an excuse for lawlessness the same as Halloween is an excuse to dress like a Ho!
Ha ha ha right 🤣🤣🤣
Like I have said , police kill more white people than black people. White people just don't riot. Maybe they have more to lose by rioting. Now if election comes and election is stolen from Trump, then they will riot and the riots you see now will be child's play.
It has to do with their desires to get free shit as a benefit of the tragedy these people are evil.
The looting is bad enough.. but the violence is what needs to stop. Fucked up times we living in
Nothing. It’s revenge, it’s releasing your pent up anger.
What kills me tho is the same people against the death penalty are ok with mayhem and murder for revenge. Innocent people are getting hurt. Innocent people are having their livelihood businesses destroyed. Anger does not justify. So anyone that commits crime could say they have pent up anger.
Peaceful protest one thing but they ain't stealing TVS cuz they angry. My daughter got trapped trying to come home from work last night.
Yes thanks. I stayed on the phone with her and her coworker till knew they got to her apt.
Absolutely nothing. The rioters are using Floyd's tragic death that should've never occurred as a cover and an excuse to perpetrate criminal activity.
Exactly. But if say that then say you a racist... Yeah bullshit...
It's just a reoccurring thing in the black community. Every time a white cop kills a black man it happens.
I know it happened here a couple years ago. They burned a gas station, they looted and they dragged white people out of their cars and beat them. But only white people are racist. Why beat white people for the actions of a police officer unless YOU'RE racist? Racism is a problem, but it's coming from BOTH sides.
Riots are a good cover for looting. Always has been always will be. Looters are opportunist vermin.
So true
Well you see, when a cop unjustly murders a black man, 92" flatscreen TV with digital surround sound. Make sense?
Ikr they looting here cop got shot last night they looting chips and soda from Walgreens. . Yeah that's standing up for the death of that man. What happened to him was horrible and wrong but what the fuck that gotta do with stealing? Sorry I'm set the fuck off cuz now I gotta worry about my daughter getting home safely from work and we're on 9:00pm curfew here because of all the shit
You have every right to be pissed. Of course when Americans finally lash out it's misguided and counter productive. It really comes as no surprise
I have always wondered the same thing every time something like this happens.
They doing it now in my city. And justifying because this happened here few years ago where there was the same situation.
And burn businesses that gives you jobs to support your families and businesses that supply the supplies you need.
It has nothing to do with it, what's worse is it just proves the racists right, which is sad.
See you get what I'm saying! We need to end racism and this just makes it worse
I know if this happens where I'm from, we have laws that protect land owners.. If this happened here I'd have the right to defend my property with lethal force.
Exactly my friend.
They doing it here now. Last night
god im sorry..
