I think by fall of this year, there will be enough people vaccinated, or have immunity through having the Covid disease and recovering, to where it will be greatly diminished. It will still be around for sure, but not like we see now.
If it ever disappears I think it will take at least 2 years. The vaccination process is going to be very long, there are many people who don't want to take the vaccines and many who don't believe that this virus is real.
It has been around since 2002-2004. It's called SARS. They would pop up every once in a while with new stuff. There is a good chance they will pop up again really soon because they infected a lot of people now.
It won't disappear. 2-3 years from now humans will gain herd immunity and it'll be just like the cold. Something that crops up and goes away until the next mutation.
It won’t. It’s not going away, hence the vaccine. It will mutate like it’s doing now and we will just have to live with it like we do with many viruses.
Years actually decades shot forever it going too get stronger or weaker but no matter what it's there like a scar it's always going too be there we just adapt to it so boost your immune system
Viruses do not "disappear". Their EFFECT lessens because people gain immunity from the virus, in one way or another, ie., exposure, actual sickness, vaccine, etc/
I don't think so. There are people around who don't wear a mask properly, people who will refuse to get vaccinated. These people who don't socially isolate will continue to spread the virus around. I expect the Olympics to be cancelled / called off.
Before May? No way that is too soon. Probably if most people around teh world is vaccinated and alreayd has their inmmunity, maybe we can go lets say to our normal lives by September probably
Doubt it ever will, it will keep mutating into various strains some more virulent than others, we'll just have to get used to the fact its here to stay.

A pandemic generally lasts around two years... but no virus has ever disappeared.
The Plague is still around, we just don’t hear about it as much.
@MissGeorgia That's why I said "if it ever disappears". And I already said it could last 2 years. There's no need for a repetition.
When it's no longer an effective tool for the politicians to power grab

You have to be retarded to think that it will disappear.
As soon as enough people get vaccinated and figure out how to stay 6 feet apart - this seems to be a big challenge for some of y'all!!
Hopefully it will disappear soon & where I work it seems like people are disappearing faster & five more people that I know have it.

10 years or more, once every single human is immune to it. But could also be there forever as it mutates. Like the flu.

May? You mean May 2022? Yeah, we'll see. Ask anti-vaxxers how long it will take.

It’s here to stay it has left a big impact on everyone who has to live through it.
As effective as this virus was at disrupting American society, why on earth would it "disappear"?
When people wake the hell up on vaccines and masks.
I don't think that it will disappear. We'll just work out ways to live with it.
May is a good target. I'm just not sure which year :D
