There are people in this country- probably even in West Virginia- who are dying, literally-graveyard-dead-DYING, because they can't afford their medicines, often in part to the restrictions these same governments imposed. And yet, people are being bribed to rush out and take an untested medical treatment, based on an untested technology, with absolutely no manufacturer or government liability if things go wrong.
I would like to add an addendum to Santayana: those who DO learn from history are doomed to watch everyone else repeat it.

Yes, they are going way too far, they are giving away chances to be a millionaire just for getting a COVID Vaccine... I agree we all should get the COVID Vaccine but I don't know about these Sates that are making deals with people... I'm leery about the COVID Vaccine so much you hear about it ( People getting blood clots, throwing up and diarrhea, vomiting, severe skin rashes, some people dying, etc, yes this is scary
They need to do more studies on this Vaccine and be sure that it's as safe as

First of all, I don't seek advice from trained virologists and immunologists.
When I need to know about such matters, I turn to the masters and gurus of GAG.
I have heard countless GAG experts say that this vaccine is completely harmless and effective. Fauci said it would take at least five years to create a safe vaccine, but he's hardly a GAG guru. So I'll take the free gun and the vaccine.

I mean I love America and have visited a few times, but a few stories do leave me confused! What the f*ck is the obsession with guns... I mean over here if you offer a free pint with each vaccine then we'd have the whole population vaccined 10 times over by now, so I'm not saying we're perfect but we just have different priorities! lol

I meant to type "organ", not "liver". The spike proteins attach to organs. Several kids (who have a 0.0003% chance of dying from C-19, even without any treatment) have had what they characterize as "minor" heart attacks. Does "minor" mean that they didn't die? Oh, nothing to worry about, mom and dad.
Well nobody wastes money like the government, especially money that isn't theirs. As if there aren't better uses for that money. What's next? Even though I support the Bill of Rights, free tickets to this and that, free guns, lottery entries, threats, er, I mean offers by Anheuser-Busch for free beer- just begs the issue. If someone is going to sell-out for a beer, their thoughts aren't very solid to begin with.
I don't know. Some people have good reasons for not getting it. If they have had covid or have had reactions from previous vaccines, it's a much tougher decision. I don't need any incentive. I don't make my medical advice from TV doctors or ad campaigns. I got it because I thought it was the be idea for me.
That's just crazy and insane. The politicians should all go to jail for bribery. When they offer to pay off my house, let me live tax free for 20 years and wipe out any debt I have, I might consider getting the shot then.

Yep. My cousin works in a hospital here and she says Doctors won't take the yearly flu vaccine because and I quote, "they are scared of needles!"

It doesn't matter to me what they do to get people to get vaccinated. I had incentive enough after being in the hospital on a ventilator for 33 days with the coronavirus. Therefore when I was given the opportunity to get the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, I took them up on it. And I have been fully vaccinated since the end of March 2021.

If you take the vaccine there is less than 1 chance in a million that you will die from COVID 19 and less than one chance in a million that you will die from the Vaccine. if you don't take the vaccine there is better than one chance in 550 that you will die from COVID 19 thus by taking the vaccine you reduce your chance of death by about 1800 times. The math does not lie. There is not medicine that is anywhere near as effective than the vaccine and the vaccine prevents the illness from happening in the first place where medicine only treats it after you get sick. Didn't you take biology where they taught how all this works?
