I have white fillings. I brush twice/d, have no mouth pain, and by coincidence had my teeth professionally cleaned three days ago, but this bad taste has been going on since before then.
The thing is the white filling slightly tears of while you brush rigoursly.
Its not a coincidence it's just the maintenance of it I think you would need more filling and it would taste like that once the filling is refilled for a week or two untill you get adjusted
Yeah they say that , bc they know they won't be able to do anything about it.
I have experienced the same and my friend is a dentist.
They say that cause they want to take your attention from it you know like sometimes if you concentrate you will try to scrabble the filling with toungue as it's external material on your teeth
Wdym, of course they could do something about it, replace them. It would be advantageous to dentists to tell their clients to swap out the fillings. It earns them more money. If the patient doesn't feel any pain, nor roughness, and x-rays come up clean, then removing them would be illogical. I've had my fillings for many years and this aftertaste issue started in the last two weeks, shortly after the shot, which is known to cause taste issues. Also, the aftertaste is after food, not before or all the time.
The filling is powder based and it tastes weird and irritates filling are chemical composition you need to be very careful with the ingredients and its usage they just can't give everytime for money it would risk the life of the person if overdone.
Well it's anyways my guess I highly doubt that it's bc of vaccine but o could be wrong

Do you have silver cap or amalgum fillings in your teeth for cavity?
How sure are you that its not the gap between the teeths were the food has been stuck causing it no matter how tiny it is or slight tear in gums
