I hate saying this but Covid is not going away. There's a solution to end this problem but rich white countries governments don't want to use that solution. Instead they want this to keep going. Then they complain that new variants are coming from African countries.
This strain was already detected in Hong Kong and Belgium but guess what? They're not going to put travel bans on these countries because people from there are white and Asian! Therefore, according to their logic they can't carry the virus, only black people can.
This only shows that our world is getting worse and worse. At this time I feel hopeless and the future seems very obscure.
I don't care about Black Friday, it was just like any other day.

Pay close attention to the manipulation concerning this latest variant. The U. S. is talking about banning flights from South Africa on Monday. Why wait until Monday? If it was such a danger to public health shouldn’t we do it right now? Today?

Same thing with summer of 2020. There may be an end of sorts in sight. I do think responses to the virus should have stopped a while ago, since we now have vaccines, treatments, abundance of protective equipment and solid data. The focus now should ve to raise the vitamin D levels and improve general health, not on lockdowns and panic. But in case you do still take the pandemic very seriously, then we need everyone to get it. Not all at once and ignoring the consequences, but still. The vaccines shield you from harsh symptoms for a limited time, but the protection weakens quickly plus is weaker against new strains.
Natural immunity on the other hand seems to be much stronger and lasting. Therefore, everyone who wants it should get the vaccine and then we should remove all restrictions and keep them removed so that individuals can decide how to protect themselves but we can both save the economy and expose everyone to the virus as safely as possible. Even in an absolute freefall, countries don't get overwhelmed overnight, and removing central planning doesn't mean individuals will do nothing. This way, once majority of zhe population has been exposed, the main goal is accomplished.
The alternative approach is to keep everyone periodically locked up until the dominant variant has barely any symptoms left, or let a tyrranical government keep everyone on an equivalent of half-yearly mandatory flu shots because the vaccines alone will never be enough to stop the virus.
Covid will absolutely be endemic from now until the end of times, but many of zhe problems can and should be ended relatively quickly.

One of the biggest issues that every country has is that they have leaders in charge that no nothing about virus in general. People might as well learn to live with them - we're stuck with them- win, lose or draw. So, stay healthy, eat a reasonably healthy diet, supplement as your doctor recommends, learn what your body is "telling" you, get exercise, get sleep, don't take unnecessary health risks, and use some common sense.
