Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage. Question is, should he fire his security staff?

Chappelle was attacked on stage by a "man" who tried to tackle the 168 pound comedian, but barely knocked him off his feet. His security was late to jump in and when they did, they both slipped and fell on their butts. They eventually caught the guy and f*cked him up so bad, he had to be taken to the emergency room and looked like his arm was twisted the other way, with his elbow facing in front. Chappelle was unharmed but the 23 year old attacker did have a knife on him, even though it wasn't used.

Should Chappelle fire his security staff for dropping the ball, before dropping on their asses?

I worked in executive protection for a year in 2013 and I assure you I wouldn't have gotten anymore work after this, if this was me. Were these guys busy on Twitter or something?
Yes, Chappelle could've gotten hurt and they knew a lot of people currently don't like him. Plus, they slid and fell on their behinds.
No, they kept him safe and they eventually beat the crap out of the attacker, sending a message to anyone else who would try such a thing.
Don't know/don't care. Results please.
