Why did it take so long to prosecute Elizabeth Holmes from her fraudulent crime or crimes?

I am just learning recently (in recent months) about this lady. Never heard of her until now.

She opened her company in 2003 called Theranos (Sounds like a Greek God lol). She was named the YOUNGEST Billionaire at 19 back then. By 2014, it was one of those successful (don't know if Fortune 500 level or something), companies in exsistence.

1. WHY did it take so long to investigate her?

2. It's a BIO MED company so why weren't there audits, checks and BALANCES that said "wait a minute. Something's not right here. These machines seem BOGUS!" as they weren't working and we ACTUALLY didn't have that kind of technology yet, to be able to DETECT cancer (or whatever they were trying to detect), from a single drop of your blood? ? !

She probably has people protecting her from the inside.

And maybe unfortunately, yeah, she's from the caucasian race... But I wouldn't want to be in her place anyway seeing as her reputation is more or less tarnished because of that scandal. I bet she owes A LOT of money. She also has to serve time in jail for her fraudulent actions. Of course she didn't act alone so her posy will have to be prosecuted as well!..

Sometimes prosecutors take a long time to build their cases to ensure the best case possible. It can also take investigators years to gather the information and evidence on which the case is built. All the while the defense is filing motions and it slows things down.

Well I'm her age and I'm no way near that rich. But you're right. I am not jealous of her reputation and her jail bird future.

1. Depends on the type of Asian (Some Muslim countries in the Middle East can be classified as "Asian" because they share the Asian continent.

2. I don't know if that is the case where I reside (which is the U. S.).

3. I don't need world domination. I just need to SURVIVE and for my genes to as well haha. But I need to make not just enough, but MORE than enough.

4. I STILL don't know why it took so long for her to get caught. It's a MEDICAL Tech / Bio Tech company. Surely the U. S.'s standards, especially regarding healthcare, would have been STRICT as a fiddle? ! Or whatever they say about it? ? ! It's regarding human life!
