Recently, Rex Heuermann was arrested and accused in the death of three prostitutes on New York's Long Island.
Let me begin by saying there is no way one could justify such killings and, if proven to be guilty, should have justice heaped upon him. I wonder, however, when I see something like this recent arrest take place. In the United States, one is suppose to be assumed innocent until proven guilty. Supposed victims are, in many cases, hidden from the public. That being the case, shouldn't one that has only been accused of a crime but not yet proven guilty, be protected in the same way?

I deplore the crime but I hate seeing people being tried in the court of public opinion.
IF THE ALLEGED VICTIM IS PROTECTED, PROTECT THE ACCUSED TOO!!!
