Before reading further like clicking, I’ll say one: New York has a crazy streak.
Two: all humans deserve a basic level of ethically humaneness respect. Each one will vote for RIGHTS not assault or disrespect.
Physically attacking or assaulting a person is a violation of many things. Especially in a “civilized” society. I mean- I don’t think physical responses should be met with a physical provocation. Like a man punching another man because he pushed him seems…

Self defense? Then maybe it’s understandable and slightly called for, but I do not think a male should be quick to physically and offensively counter a physical provocation from a female as her force is probably we could all say a lot less than an average male and men seem to be quite alright with using this as a response to other males and exchange punches for some reason.
Heck it’s even a sport…
females DID not create that sport and usually don’t play this way with other females- from my previous observations and personal experiences.
And as well a lot of this stuff is reenacted because it’s also seen and glamorized in various ways.
If a child was hitting me I don’t think my life would be in a life or death situation- so EXTREME. So I don’t think I’d actually ATTACK them to counter any provocation by them. If the strength I possess is noticeably stronger and more than theirs. If they’re seriously causing a threat to my safety like throwing objects and such then it’s VERY possible I would REACT in a way to defend and maybe include offense.
Im not out to murder anybody anyhow, so if a female like- slapped or tried to push or punch a guy I don’t see how he couldn’t evade/ deflect/ disarm/ disable- before actually ATTACKING her.
Seems like he was just looking for a reason to do so and the “equal rights” that upsets him is a great vantage point to enforce and rationalize this. I think it’s wrong.
I also think anyone physically provoking another human is also majorly wrong and women aren’t any exception to it. Many women when they become physical don’t learn any restraint as men may have to learn. Knowing their own power and such, but then again if it’s a weakling of a woman vs a man- should she exercise RESTRAINT? on an already capped valve of energy as her tool for safety?
Anyways. I’ll look at the video now and I already expect to see a bunch of stupidity. If I see it, I won’t be surprised.

i first saw a video of a woman claiming she had been hit with a brick some months ago when she clearly hadn't.
So my assumption was the tic tokers were jumping in on this theme and disbelieved it immediately.
But it seems to be true. Wow.
I've been told that crimes are like fashions; a particular crime can emerge, flourish, and finally die out again for no particularly good reason. I hope this one dies out asap.

I may be a bit behind on other states policies, but when did New York vote to remove assault as a felony? And why did women vote in favor of that? That just sounds too crazy to be real.
