Maybe Amazon could remake it with a more diverse case and a major rewrite, maybe Hailey Bailee could play Aragorn.

I am laughing about this. :D It's hilarious and real. I love Peter Jackson's LOTR so much. <3
I will say that it was genuinely weird watching it again last year. The lack of diversity in the cast is actually truly glaring. I mean, how hard is it to cast someone like Henry Golding as Faramir or a knight of Gondor? Or have someone like Rachel Zegler as a hobbit or an elf? Or a Zoe Saldana as a Shieldmaiden of Rohan? There is not a single black person or Latino on the cast, even as an extra, as far as I know. Gotta admit that's strange. But no, it shouldn't be banned. I like the warning Disney+ puts at the start of some of their old movies; it takes care of the PC element, but they don't have to destroy decades of filmmaking history to avoid being canceled.
And I mean, Dwayne Johnson should have been in there somewhere... He could have totally been a cave troll. Not hating, I think he's a fine actor and has a great sense of humor. :)
Rohan is in Morbihan, Brittany. Contrary to popular belief Orcs are welcome as long as they speak fluent Breton.
I only ever saw the first one in theaters when it came out, and never saw any of the other ones, so I wouldn't know anything about that. But I will say, I don't think art should be censored. With so many different movies out there, obviously there will be some that have a certain fanbase. You can't control who watches your content, so it's stupid to censor it and ruin it for other people
Never heard of it being racist or popular with white supremacy. I don’t care enough about this though I noticed “Daily Gondor” has sub sections of ‘potions’, ‘recipes’, ‘middle earth’, etc. so it seems like a satire website based around the world of Lord of The Rings.
Not something to be triggered over (I’m talking about Conservatives who will lose their mind over this)
*Upon closer inspection, seems to be fan edits of official news sites meant to be in the world / commentate on the fake made up world surrounding Lord of The Rings…. Though not interested in researching this further so…. Yeah.

This question is too funny. Ban something because you don’t like it or you perceive it to be racist… They are movies. If you don’t like it don’t watch them, go to them, rent them, or buy their merch…..
If you couldn’t tell, my answer was no.
Gene Roddenberry already did that. It was called Star Trek. He even said he was doing that. He said he thought it was his duty as a producer to push that kind of stuff. He had a "woke" agenda long before that term came into being.
Do you believe all of this? I read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in 6th grade. It's one of my favorite stories. Is Tom Bombadil racist?
How about banning the making of movies from books, instead? :D
Nope if you don't like something then don't read' watch or buy it
We could also punch racists for invading our cool stuff. Make it clear they are not wanted.
Unlike the skin of white supremacists the city was indeed white.
don't forget it's lack of feminist ideals with "toxic masculinity"
sure hope those orcs kick some ass! trump 2024
***stifles yawn***
