Where are you getting useful info about Hurricane Milton?

Hurricane Milton is a strong hurricane about to hit Florida, and affect most of the state.

Many people are providing useful information about Hurricane Milton on YouTube and social media (Facebook X/twitter).

There are some misleading info, but most of it is helpful, identifying hurricane strength and forecast strength, and reporting on several tornadoes today, before the storm makes landfall.

Even media news sources have their own YouTube channels.

I look at the National Hurricane Center's maps showing the projected path of the storm, together with weather. com's forecast for my local area. I also listen to Gov DeSantis's announcements because they are very informative.

When it comes to wind I like the windy app. It'll do the usual direction and strength stuff but you can look at things like wave height, swell etc plus loads of other stuff.
