In minutes after the verdict was announced the BLM leader paraded the parents of Jordan Neely in front of the news cameras.. Naturally the parents placed the blame on all the racists in New York City that returned a not guilty verdict.

The fact that their son was arrested multiple times on similar charges and they did not lift a finger to see that their son got some form of mental health care and just let him continue to walk the streets and ride the subway had nothing to do with the outcome.

I hope not. Rioting accomplishes nothing and is counterproductive to racial healing. The jurors returned the verdict hopefully based on objectivity and information with which the general public is not privy. Rioting should not intimidate judicial proceedings from delivering objective justice.

Hopefully not, but good. Glad he was found not guilty. That was such a bush league and pathetic attempt to try and hit him with a lesser charge after the jury was deadlocked after deliberation. Trial should have been done on Friday and labeled a mistrial at that point.

That judge should be fired for that bullshit. Penny was not guilty and di the right thing. All this trial did was show people to not intervene in a justified instance because they will be the ones who get punished.

I thought that decision by the judge was pretty foul. Activist judges are a huge problem.

I'm so glad that he was found not guilty because he was only trying to help others and something went terribly wrong in the process.
