Climate change is of all ages. We are now living in an era between glacial periods. Our planet has been through severe ice ages and will go through them again. But life has always adapted and will continue to do so.
The problem is that we as human race are more dependent on climate change than we think we are. Only a few degrees up or down may cause real problems in our food supply. Take away the pollination by insects such as bees and we may have to face serious issues. Wine production may have to shift several thousands of kilometers north, as the land down south is scorched by the heat. We already see the trend. Don't turn to our politicians with their short term views to solve long term issues.
An additional problem is that we humans, since we moved up the ladder of evolution and placed ourselves above all other life, forget that we are still part of nature. We don't control nature, but are just a link in the chain. A weak link that can cause great havoc, of which we will be the first to endure the consequences.
Climate change is as real now as it was a million years ago. As real as it was during the Little Ice Age. And climate change will continue long after man has left the earth.
As to the cause. . . undoubtedly, industrialization has contributed some small part to climate change but the larger part is likely due to natural cyclic activity such as solar storms, volcanic activity, variations in earth orbit and tilt, etc.
"Scientists" make predictions about the course of climate change and time proves them wrong. They never admit that they were wrong. I will never believe people who never admit when they are wrong.
"All" scientists do not agree on the causes of climate change. However, most climate scientists depend on government funding for their research and they have a biad to support the obvious government agenda with the climate change story. And anyone who thinks that scientists cannot be biased is a fool of the highest order.
Thanks for MHO!
The climate has always being changing but i think there's enough evidence to suggest man has contributed to altering earth's natural cycle. If things such as volcanic eruptions can change climate then it follows man made pollution can too. The problem now is we are ignoring the strength of evidence on both sides of the debate and simply towing political lines.
Bipolar weather is due to manipulation not natural causes.
You can't dump significant chemicals into spaces not intended for them and not expect a chemical reaction.
There is also a group in Santa Barbara California called "cloud seeders". In an attempt to cure dry spells? I'm sure they are not the only ones.

The wording is a blatant trick. How can any sane person not notice? Until now climate changed, it was NOT STEADY, warm spring , cold winter and changing so a "change from change" would be steady but changs is not a change from change!

really?

How can anyone trust these "scientists ".
The change they refer to is "warming due to greenhouse gasses " but since 1950 a trend of cold despite all the co2 we added, proving man added co2 cannot cause warming.

See "cooling trend" when we added pollution n co2.
considering that around 200 million years ago, over half of what now is the US/North america was ass deep in glaciers and they melted long before man was around or cow farts, it happens with mother nature. So yes while the climate did change, it was mother nature, not man.
The problem is that the scientists forget that mother nature moves way slower than a couple hundred years.
So plastic straws wrapped in paper, or paper straws wrapped in plastic are/were not the issue, neither is someone sailing around in a boat made of hydrocarbon products that left a huge carbon footprint when it was built and operated, wearing clothes made from hydrocarbons going around and telling us how dare we.
Well right back at ya.
We still may be warming up from when the glaciers melted which is what just happens.
Is climate change real? - Yes.
Was it caused by humans? - Probably yes, but we definitely accelerated it.
How can I be so sure?
If you burn fuels (coal, Oil, Petrol, etc) that contain carbon you will created carbon dioxide which does accelerate climate change
C + O2 = CO 2
It's the same concept like throwing trash into a forest. They forest and the trees might have been sick before, even without you doing something. But you throwing 20 car tires and 10 bags of Plastic trash into it, did certainly not improve the situation of the forest...
Co2! When YOU breathe you exhale co2. Multiply billions of people.
Fact: during 1950s was a cooling trend proving that adding co2 doesn't cause warming.
@strateguy632 this is bs. Because CO2 IS causing the greenhouse effect. The fact that there was a cooling effect for some while can have different reasons (different sun phases, sun eruptions, large volcanic eruotions which limited the amount of UV light entering the atmosphere, etc) Which would in turn only momentarily DELAY the effect (while also adding more CO2) but it would not stop it.
No.
It's not in terms of what the WEF/WHO/etc announces.
During my life it's been ten years to a new ice age, ten to acid rain killing all the crops, ten to the loss of the ozone, ten to the ice caps melting and ten to CO² baking us all.
The problem is records don't take what science claims the age of the earth to be seriously. If it did nobody would be trying to get us to panic because geology shows the planet warms and cools cyclically and mans impact is so microscopic it's not worth considering.
Unless, of course, they're all bullshit designed to control the global population.
Climate change has been taking place since the planet earth was formed it's definitely not a new thing and nature has a way of compensating for any change. That doesn't mean that we should freely and unresponsably pollute our planet. The only reason the planet would be doomed for destruction is if the predictions in the Bible take place and due to anti-christianity and apostasy the prediction of the second coming or rapture taking place which will end the world as we know it according to biblical predictions.
The climate always changes. 15,000 years ago, Chicago was under a mile of ice and will be again. The tailpipe of my Lincoln Navigator didn't cause it. The earth's motion cycles, plate tectonics, sun brightness changes, volcanos and also Joe Biden (not really) caused it.
Perhaps fat broads cause global warming !!!
doesn't exist!! It's the phases of the Sun. it's also warming up on Saturn and Uranus! Does that mean that when we burn gas or allow cows to fart here, it makes those planets warm up, too?
Back in the `70's, they were telling us we're heading for another ice age in about 8 years!! I'm still waiting for that to happen!! The closest we got was a heavy snow one winter.
If it exists, why do all the climate activists tool around the planet in PRIVATE jets instead of going Skype or any other kind of computer link-up?
Why would Barry Soetoro by a mansion with an ocean-front view in Martha's Vinyard if the sea levels are about to rise?
D**N SKIPPY !!! Last Feb.27, our high was 22 Celsius (72 Fahrenheit);the average Feb.27 Windsor, Ont. temperature is 3 Celsius (38 Fahrenheit). In short, it was like late May in late February.(So far, we've gotten about half our average winter snowfall for this time of the season).
Yes. The climate is always changing. It has been since the dawn of time. The last ice age ended only 11,500 years ago, and the climate has been warming ever since then. It goes in cycles.
Having said that, I think it's pretty arrogant and self-important to think human's suddenly have something to do with that, or have control over it.
It is real because the climate has been changing for millennia. We had an ICE AGE. The idea that we can change the climate by buying battery powered cars is laughable.
Besides this monkey-faced girl, climate change is real but the part where it affects us is pollution. Everything else is natural.
Man made climate change is a myth. Climate is changing but it has nothing to do with humans.
Exactly the ice age "ended" long before power plants made electricity by burning coal.
Yes. You can interpret data any way you please.
Climate change is real, but the problem with this debate is that some opportunists use it to hinder the economy.
climate change has always existed and humanity has contributed nothing to it
Sí. Es reál. The issue isn't whether it's real. The issue is, how much of it is human caused
The climate changes obviously. How much humans change it is up for debate.
I don't believe in it.
No I hate greta too
Things are changing for he worse
Yes, I thing climate change is quite real.
