I'm not sure shutting USAID down was the right thing to do. To get USAID back to its original purpose:

"to advance U. S. national security and economic prosperity, demonstrate American generosity, and promote a path to recipient self-reliance and resilience."

by eliminating some of the things it does that go outside its purpose (some of them woke), would have been better in my opinion. There is still a legitimate reason for its original purpose.

We can all be appalled at bad foreign aid programs. But keep your eye on the bigger "slush fund" issue, from which the Demunists are desperately trying to distract. A large amount of foreign aid money that was instead used for domestic media to fluff Demunist politicos. A criminal misuse of funds.
