So this 87 year-old man defended himself against 3 young (teens) intruders that beat him. During the process, he shot and killed one of the teens.

The intruder's family then tried to sue him for 1 million but it got denied. That dead young man's mother said ''My son ONLY tried to rob you''. Not really. Her son was among the teens that didn't just tried to rob him, he beat an elderly man that defended himself. What on earth was her son robbing instead of being in college, going out with friends, working, etc?
