Color company Pantone has named a shade of white called Cloud Dancer as Color of the Year. Should people of color be offended?

I'm offended that Pantone has a color called Cloud Dancer and think it's white. Most clouds I see are kinda gray, not pure white.

I once owned a Toyota whose official color was Beach Sand. It was listed as TAN on the car's registration.

The people at the DVLA will put the closest colour on the V5 (registration papers) that matches the maker's description. It's easier to use generic colour names when you have to generate millions of logbooks a year.
