Have you heard the sad news that James Van Der Beek has passed?

I loved Dawson's Creek. Grew up on it. It's so shocking and sad that he has passed away.

Not being from the US, I have absolutely no idea who he is or was. I usually don't watch those US series and I am not that connected with the movie industry.

Anyway, all deaths are sad, regardless of who the deceased is or was. The fact that he died does not make it sadder than if Mr. Hanchin or Mrs. Mbutu did. There are always people that were close enough to mourn that person.

It is sad that he did passed but he is just one of many thousands that did die on that day. That is all tragic news for family.

I understand what you mean and it is very sad indeed. He was really young, I think only 48 years old and had a big family. I feel so bad for his family.

48 years is not an age to die. I think of his family. Much too young to be taken away from the loved ones.

I'm really sad. Normally I'm indifferent to celebrities dying but I really liked him 😔 One of my favorite Christmas movies is Mrs. Miracle. I also watched Dawson's Creek when I was young. He was so handsome.

I thought the same as you when i read the news from moments ago, i have never actually watched any of his episodes but back the late 90's when i was in my early teenage years, they made so much promos on t. v about dawson's creek episodes until i was annoyed and the star's photo was saved in my mind, now when i read the news i felt sad hust because he acted and was a young star in my era, plus he was only 48, died from colorectal cancer ☹

It’s sad he died to young , same as the singer from 3 doors down , too young , it just goes to show to enjoy life as much as possible because tomorrow is never promised

He has battled cancer for a few years. Too bad he lost. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy soon. I will make sure I do not blow it off.
