What are your thoughts on the UK and Ireland fuel anti-government protests?

People always had to find a culprit with the governments when things don't go well in their lives.

I can understand some of them like when both parents work and that the money they make just is not enough to live in dignity because minimum wage is imposed by governments and companies certainly are not going to raise minimum wage. Any cent, dime or penny more paid to an employee are millions less that CEOs can put in their own pockets.

I understand as well that illegal immigration is a big issue that needs to be addressed urgently rather than to postpone it and allow for insecurities in cities because of the clash in mentality.

I think the government needs to cut fuel tax especially for truckers and farmers, at least until the war is over. That extra fuel cost ultimately gets passed on to people in the shops so it's in everyone's interest.

One thing people don't realise is parts of the UK/Ireland are heavily dependent on oil refining to generate income so there's a big knock on effect if the ships don't come.

But ultimately the problem is caused by America. I think we'd be better off blockading American military bases and with tractors, even capturing American ships in our ports.

The big problem is what we pay at the pump half of it goes to the government so the more we pay the more the government gets but they won't step in and say let's drop fuel duty to help the motorist. I'm afraid the government is very anti car and that goes got petrol, diesel and electric seeing free road tax is being charged on EV's now!

Just in time! Ireland and Germany and more the gasoline price started decreased. Already 5 cents cheaper per liter is 20 cents less per gallon!

Well the British and thd Irish governments put 50-60% tax on fuel so this crisis has been very ucrative for them.
