Am I sexist because my car was hit 3 times in a single year all by women drivers? And before you say I bared some fault. My car was parked all 3 times. I was nowhere near it! And yes, it was parked completely legally.😆 How do you hit a parked car?😆

Point of my story is if the situation was bad enough for you. And if it's happened multiple times with black women (like me with women drivers😆). It DOESN'T make you racist. It could make you prejudiced towards black women though. And I think anyone with an ounce of sense would understand why. But this is why people need to understand people and their situations rather than judging. And people with predjudices need to work to understand that prejudices are not real. What may have happened to you was real. But it's just a cross section that doesn't define every black woman. Just like what happened to me doesn't define every woman driver. We both just had some 💩ty luck.

When you have a belief that applies to an entire group when it is not logical to do so, you are being prejudicial or bigoted.

So, for instance, ”All NBA players are Black" is a prejudicial statement. Certainly no one can disagree that most NBA players are Black, but there are plenty of NBA players of other ethnicities. Thus, it is logically false that ”All NBA players are Black".

Now, something like this "All pregnant humans are biological females" isn't a prejudicial statement because it is true. But a statement like ”All pregnant humans crave ice cream and pickles” is a prejudicial statement because it is making a universal statement about the group that isn't true because there are pregnant women who do not "crave ice cream and pickles".
