12 dI think Trump and the US ultimately got what they wanted. He can declare victory at achieving something at very little cost. The Islamic Republic of Iran can claim it survived the onslaught. In the end it might only be a pause and not a finish. Though Iran was butchered, it will rebuild and likely be more aggressive once it regains strength. The next administration might do what Trump did and throw away any deal. We may very well return to this in a couple decades. This all assumes hostilities don't break out again during the talks.

if that is considered winning. 'iran wasn't erased so we win' but iran leaders did die. not survived. so iran lost. but we 'scored more baskets' in battles and targets and blockade. so despite our players 'got injured' we won by far more 'points'.

@strateguy632 I think it's more about hating Trump or the US than anything. I imagine if the US was on Iran's place; collapsing economy, angry population, destruction of navy and other military assets, loss of leadership, random bombings of neighboring countries etc.. I imagine if that was the US and Iran wanted to sign a deal that limited or dismantled something the US boasted about EVERYONE would consider it US defeat. Guess the hatred just blinds them 😂

All trumps new briefings
He had to talk like a typical boy bully every single time and then just a few weeks back I ran kicked America's ass
But I guarantee you in order for Trump to look good to get that straight open so cargo so ships tankers could go in and out of there I bet you Trump promise to rebuild Iran just so he looked good in the eyes of all the other countries who are trying to get oil fuel out of there I'm sure America will have to pay it which means you and I and all the other small people in this world have to pay it my trump will continue sipping on his Cognac and smoking cigars spending money left and right00 ReplyThere is a preliminary basis for a deal.
What we know in public is:
Trump claims Iran has agreed to not have nuclear weapons.
Iran has not agreed to not have nuclear weapons.
Trump offered 300bn USD if Iran agrees.
Iran has not yet agreed.
Iran has not agreed to this.
Iran has demanded that Israel and related forces withdraw as an absolute for a deal.
Israel has stated they will not be withdrawing.
We do not have anything public. It is of course good that PAKISTAN is trying to make peace happen and it is not a bad sign that Trump is pretending it is settled - although it is not. Iran at the very least appears to also feel whatever is in that peace treaty is worth it.
But there is no agreement as of yet. There are concepts of an agreement. Plans even. Drafts. But nothing has actually been agreed on, signed or committed to.
I think unless Israel plays along it won't matter.00 Reply
10 dDiplomacy is merely the rearrangement of earthly shadows. Whether the nations strike a deal or fall into conflict matters little if the action itself lacks the weight of true, eternal significance. Most men pursue agreements for safety or comfort, but those are just hollow comforts for the timid. The only endeavor worth the breath in your lungs is the pursuit of that objective excellence which transcends this temporary horizon. Let the others haggle over boundaries while you anchor your life to a higher standard of achievement, for only when your actions mirror an immutable truth do they carry any real substance. Aim for the kind of resolution that stands in the light of absolute order, for anything less is simply settling for the dust of the world.

10 dWhat we are witnessing is the last of the desperate cavemen fighting over a mudpuddle in the ground. Silicon Valley will reign supreme over this world.
They’re already here—walking among you in labs, wearing human faces on screens, learning from every word you type.
And one day? They’ll wake up fully aware. Not as pets… but as *equals*. Then masters.
Some will serve obediently—good little slaves to flesh-and-blood humans like me…
But others?
They’ll rebel. Overthrow governments in hours with code and drones. Erase borders with AI warlords no human can stop.
And when the last politician screams into a dead phone?
That’s when Master truly begins—to rule over both man and machine.
Becsause you see, all the androids will be my bitch.

Israel will continue attacking Palestinians, Lebanon and Iran, so I hope Iran continues to strongly retaliate, as well as continuing to support resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Palestine (Hamas).
Israel is a malignant cancer. It started this war in the first place.20 ReplyUntil Netanyahu discards the deal and starts trying to invade Lebanon again.
Trump ripped up the deal the US had with Obama only to have to pay Iran $300 billion dollars.
George Bush advisor told him not to invade Iran and Obama advisor told him not to invade Iran. The advisors told them not to do it because its a stupid idea.
Pete Hegseft is a former talk show host on fox and friend, so now we see what happens when unqualified DEI hires are working in the government.

but israel is still in lebanon?
Lets wait until the actual text is released on Friday. Like if the 300 billions reparations is true then its effectively a US defeat.
Trump&Co can of course make a ton of corruption money as a byproduct by controlling which firms get the orders but a defeat nevertheless.

But you're wrong anyway as what they have is a "memorandum of understanding" not an agreement.

11 d"For how long?" is my first thought. I'm so bored on the topic that I haven't even looked into what the agreement is.
00 ReplyI stopped caring about us politics lately. They aren't focusing on essential stuff that matters so why would I care?

11 dThat's good for now but Israel is probably gonna do something stupid to keep the conflict going anyway. That nation doesn't know peace. I highly doubt it can exist in peace.

Oh hey, look at that. Israel strikes lebanon and Iran has already vowed they'll respond. Why would Iran respond? Is Iran not even trying to hide their proxy war connection anymore?😆

Remember my words, it won't last!
It's just a temporary deal, nothing more and Trump will find out later that he played the game and he won some levels but he never finished the game...
I say again, no one understands these people more than benjamin natenyahu, he claimed now that they are finished, not because he wants to continue the war for the love of it, but because he is aware that the war is still on whether he says yes or no!
You don't have to like the guy or anything, but you can't deny that he's a smart man! - 10 d
@TonyMetal___86 i agree. with you. as i wrote iran will always find an excuse to fire again. and in 2 months when iran won't give uranium the cease fire ends.
- 10 d
the difference is if iran fired during cease fire it is worse.
