In April of 1775, the people of what is now the United States of America embarked on a journey that would ultimately result in making it the freest, most powerful, most just, most consequential nation in the history of the human race.
But it wasn’t without a cost. 30,000 of the brave colonists who took on the battle against the most powerful military in the world at the time, the British, lost their lives in their effort to liberate their fellow colonists from the oppression they were constantly suffering at the hands of the British government. That was 1% of the entire population of America at the time, equivalent to 3.5 million Americans losing their lives based on today’s US population. They started the battle with nothing but pitchforks and an unmatched craving for freedom realizing that were likely sacrificing their lives in the process but willing to give their all rather than be ruled by a tyrannical government.
So why are the Persian people of Iran so cowardly as to not take on the disgusting, evil, 11th century Islamic barbarians who are holding them hostage just like the American warriors did. You mean to tell me that 90 million Iranians couldn’t do things like refuse to go to work to bring down these barbarians with economic revolution? The leadership would collapse in days and wouldn’t be able to do a thing about it. It is a relative handful of people compared to the public at large.
Come on Persians. We want to get behind you and turn your country into a sane and prosperous member of the civilized world. But you need to show us that you are not cowards. In 1978/79 you rebelled and started an uprising to overthrow your Shah. Where are you now? Have you lost your courage. Stand up and fight for your freedom, you are the only ones who can make it happen. Learn from the Americans and LIBERATE YOURSELVES.

I would probably agree with you except for the reservation of personally having known some people who escaped Iran including both Jews and Muslims. The few I have met in my life were good people.

Yes that's true. But if the American settlers had thought like that, where would we be today. Behead 90 million people? That isn't happening. They need to gather themselves and do what needs to be done. Many will die, but if they don't do it they are going to die anyway since the rest of the world will not tolerate Iranian terrorism much longer and it may be necessary to kill civilians (unintentionally) to get the job done like it was in WWII.
Maybe they should fight it out using pitchforks?

This guy's father was also a lunatic. But the mistake the Iranian people made at the time was that when they got rid of him, they replaced him with people who were even worse. They need to stand up on their own two feet, EARN their freedom and not make the same mistake again by putting someone sane in power for a change. And Reza Pahlavi is not that person.

Yes, I've seen some propagandists here. It's sad. Even a person who claims to be Iranian and supports the regime. I debated him and he ran away early. Either he is lying, or is a regime puppet. Only those who are pro regime are given consistent internet access.
