They have paid for those F-35 but the fine print is that they will cost much more than what your government has paid. The US government reserves itself to adjust the wns price by a few hundred million (or even billion) dollars. This is a regular way of doing business with the US and the manufacturer Lockheed Martin. Turkey is not alone in that situation. Switzerland is also being blackmailed by the that corrupt US administration to pay more.

Furthermore, the F-35 has so many issues that even the US Air Force has questioned whether those F-35 are actually in air worthy conditions.

You see, something like 90% of F-35s have no radar in their nose cone as China has cut off rare earth supply, So they had to ditch the radar to use te existing supply elsewhere.
