The Biden administration keeps saying it’s worth paying hirer gas prices at the pump to help the war effort in Ukraine. Guess what Biden American are not willing to pay 5.49-$6.18 a gallon to help those in Ukraine. Don’t get me wrong we do have sympathy for those who are fighting for there country’s life but we are no longer willing to pay these high prices at the pump it’s unfair to the Americans people. Either open up drilling in the United States again or not helping Ukraine this why trump said “ America first “ we need to take care of our own people before we help those over seas. It seems Biden is to stupid to realize this. Putin won get over it

If it falls, what guarantee is there the global community will lift punitive sanctions on Russia that are affecting oil prices? The market is too volatile to make any real sense. There will be other wars and conflicts down the road that disrupt gas prices.

It takes oil to make all those EV's you love so much. That, plus several precious metals that are becoming even harder to find. Then, what do you do with the batteries when they are worn out? You burn them, creating even more carbon emissions than a car with over 100,000 miles.

Of course some oil is used to manufacture EV’s and of course battery disposal and recycling is an issue that has to be resolved before this becomes feasible on a mass scale. (Upgrading the electrical grid as well) Lithium batteries cannot be the industry standard. I’m not sure when you conservatives became such environmentalists but glad to have you on board. Better late than never. The point was economic. Electric rates are less volatile than oil prices and it’s cheaper per mile to run an EV. If we embrace change rather than fight it, we won’t have to worry about foreign wars and conflicts affecting fuel prices here. It’s a better deal for the consumer. Since when did you conservatives become such snowflakes? You’re not willing to stand against a tyrant if it causes you a little personal discomfort? Supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do. Ukraine isn't part of NATO. Why are we throwing money and sacrificing out country for them? Every asshole on here saying it will cause a worse problem is lying. We have NATO for a reason. Ukraine only now wants to join it because they need us more than we need them. If a NATO country is attacked, it still isn't America's alone responsibility. It would likely trigger multiple countries going to Russia which based off of their battle with Ukraine won't be very hard to win.
