He’s not working rt now and hasn’t been since November. I know he’s struggling. But there is NO excuse for not being creative or buying/making a card, sending me gify’s or writing something beautiful or buying a single rise or SOMETHING!!!’ It’s almost 4:30 and still no call or text!!!

There’s nothing wrong with women these days-it’s the men!!! Where is the old traditional men who knew how to treat a women and make her feel special on Valentine’s Day? I don’t know how old you are but I’m 59 and he’s 60-we both come from an error where that’s what you do-you do SOMETHING, ANYTHING on Valentine’s Day. Something to show your thoughtfulness. Do you really think you’re right lol? What are your traditions? And how would you feel if your partner ignored you on one of your special occasions? And I am an independent, self sufficient woman who doesn’t need a guy for his money or what he can do for me. And I’m not a materialistic person either. I don’t require expensive gifts, dinners, jewelry, flowers etc. But I DO deserve to be treated like someone who is loved. Damn it it could’ve even been a Giphy-even something as simple as ghat, seriously!

Traditional men are dying because feminist are killing them. This attitude of I don’t need a man I’m strong, I’m independent. But someone mugs you then you all want to cry about where’s the men these days. Men don’t want to help women these days because we’re told we’re toxic. We’re told everything about us is wrong. Now that women are getting what they wanted they don’t like it. She wants traditional values but still wants to run around, have numerous kids w numerous men. Only to give her best to some douche bag who she finally realizes is never going to change. But still thinks she’s a prize to a man who has worked his ass off expecting him to take her as she is. Like wait, you didn’t have the time of day for me back than now that you’re all used up you want to him to treat you like a queen lol as to your question about not getting something on my special days, it doesn’t bother me cause I don’t live for those things. I’m not saying that just to say that I don’t care about those things because I know who I am as a man I don’t need validation the way women do. Besides she’s good to me everyday so no need to whine about one damn day when she does it everyday. If he’s not getting you something than there’s a reason why, maybe you’re not worth his time or effort.

I’m so sorry you took the time to write all that when you’re so off the mark about all of it when you assumed just bc I’m self sufficient that I have adopted a feminist attitude. I see you have a lot of gripes with that whole movement, and so do I, lol. The reason I said I don’t need a guy for his money or extravagant hits is bc I’m not materialistic. But I am a woman and my man should, at the very least, say something or do anything, however “small” or simple it is to acknowledge me on Valentine’s Day! Now if you can’t agree to that then I think you’ve been so tainted and scorned that there’s no use in us talking any further.
PS-I LOVE a man who practices chivalry and helps me with packages, and brings all his manliness to the table-I’m not an extreme feminist like you assumed and went on a tangent about. But I do believe in equal rights where if a woman can do the job just as good as a man - then so be it.
