i've had 3 valentine girlfriend's. it didn't go well.

Easy. My husband and I booked a hotel room to stay in for a romantic getaway on valentines day last year in the big city. We were making it a couple of nights so we were going to to dinner, a show and a night out dancing. Anyway we got to into the hotel room and being in a hotel room alone after a long journey decided to start the romance early because why not.

Anyway somebody called the police about a 12 year old minor being groomed and raped by a much older man. So we are in the middle of being intimate and the police come through the door let in by the hotel staff. So embarrassed.

My husband is cuffed and locked up for the night and I have to stay in police station under supervision of a social worker. They wouldn't believe that I wasn't a minor and I had no ID with me as I'd left it on the kitchen counter. Pictures of our wedding, calls to my parents etc nothing would convince them. Anyway my father brought my passport and birth cert the next day.

They thought I was underage because I'm really short, skinny and have young good looking skin and I'm very pretty. I suppose it doesn't help that I have to shop in kids stores and had my hair in pigtails at the time.

OMIGOD. I am glad there were no injuries -you never can tell with cops. Did they apologize to you?

They did. The hotel room offered us a free night and refund but I just wanted to go home. I was in a room with my husband inside me with a whole bunch of people seeing that. I really hope all their body cam footage was deleted.

They were rather rude to my husband. They basically treated him like a peado and didn't even let him get dressed

Honestly, I think you and your husband are lucky that they didn't beep the hell out of him. That seems to happen a lot when cops encounter citizens that they don't like. Be glad nobody was hurt. The cops are routinely rude and I think that's just to be expected.

It was my golden retriever's birthday for 16 years. If I ever had heartbreak it would still always be his birthday and make me happy that I had him with me for 16 years.

That is a looong time for a Golden. Mine lasted 14 years, and I had to put him down because he lost the use of his hind legs due to nerve degeneration in his spine. It broke my heart to have to do that. His birthday was May 7th. Beautiful dogs.

@Amy10223 I'm sorry to hear that. Mine started having grand mal seizures. He was holding on for me at one of the most very difficult times in my life, they love us that much.

Mine had three ancestors reach 25 and two 18 in his pedigree. Amazing lines. They are great dogs, especially the Canadian working lines.

Wow, that is amazing that one lasted 25 years! Yes, they are the best dogs in my opinion, especially around children. I remember walking in the parks with him, and whenever a child would pass by asking to pet him, he would sit down to be at the level of the child and let himself be petted. Such a sweet dog. A little hyper when it came to visitors at the house, though. It would take him 10 to 15 minutes to calm down, lol. Thank you.
