Girls, are skinny guys a turnoff?

Question

I'm a skinny dude, I workout a lot but just have a longer figure.  I have definition but is a nice body essential to get a pretty girl?

A lot of girls will try and tell you that being skinny doesn't matter, or that they don't really like muscles.

But the disproportionate amount of female attention that muscular guys get just doesn't match up with what the girls say.

Get built. Go out of your way to get built. It'll be worth it.

You can be skinny and get a pretty girl, but it will have far more to do with your style or personality than your unaffiliated appearance.

i'm sure you're fine, since you work out a lot. Although I'd rather much prefer my guy to be muscular, skinny guys (if not tooooooo lanky) don't turn me off. However, they do make me feel a bit self-conscious. I remember liking a skinny guy once and I felt so unsexy because I felt big next to him--my calves, thighs and ass are probably bigger than him. Also, I don't feel as protected when I'm with them but they're okay :) If the guy had taken the initiative and approached me, I would have said yes.

So no, I don't think that a nice body is essential to get a pretty girl, but it would increase your chances. Hope this helps! x

Skinny guys aren't a turn off as long as they have nice wide shoulders and they are taller then me. Those are the two things I only care about. then I look at the face to see its decent. then it all depends on your personality if I find you attractive.

Any skinny tall decent looking guy with wide shoulders is at least attractive to me. :)

Not at all,  I don't care if a guy is skinny. I assume you're referring to being the opposite of have big muscles?  As to getting a pretty girl, it all depends on who you think is pretty and what that girl likes.  You don't have to be gigantic to get a girl.

If there boney it's a huuuuge turn off. Girls like guys that are bigger then them because it makes them feel protected because the boy is strong, but I think your fine your toned not boney

As long as you have some muscles then its fine. But if you have like tiny chicken legs it not always so great. But girls fall in love with the cheezy sh*t boys say too, so even if you are skinny you can still get the girls. Don't go overboard with working out and stuff because that can turn into an obsession. I could go into detail of what I like, but it really just comes down to this...

There is no certain "type" that is "essential to get a pretty girl".

Depends on the girl. Some girls will look for personality and then the body with be like a bonus really. How skinny or built you are shouldn't matter to the girl but if it does, your body type is good.

I think skinny guys are really cute, it's defiantly not a turn off. I also like kind of chubby guys, too. The only body type I actually find unattractive is really muscle-y guys. Like that whole Jersey Shore thing? Just no.

My personal preference is I like a little bit flab.. it gives a guy a bit of character and hugging them is much nicer, as I am a skiny girl. Opposites attract they say. But to each his own. The one type of guy I just can't stand are the over muscular body builder types.. it honestly is a turn off. So are the really huge guys..

Skinny guys are fine or at least attractive to me; the guy can't be too thin or else It's a turn off. Girls also prefer some tone and muscles to balance the thinness. If you work out then you should be fine and attracting girls.
