i heard that I should fix my underbite first then do the deviated septum next what do you think?
and how much do each one cost?
Do the underbite first, and the deviated septum second. I have had sinus surgery twice, and both times they fixed my deviated septum. Contrary to what ArtistBboy said, this procedure does not alter your appearance in any way, as they are simply realigning your cartilage, not breaking your nose. Also, the surgery for the underbite involves breaking your jaw, which would likely undo a lot of the work that your doctor did in your nose.
Thanks I thought that would happened
I don't know the cost but I had an underbite as well what they did for me was put a couple caps on top of my teeth to readjust my top jaw my underbite was minor but could've gotten worse had the dentist not done anything. I agree with everyone and say that the nose first is the best because you don't want you teeth to be "straight" with the wrong angle of your nose lol
I had both of those and had surgery on my mouth about 5 years ago I think I was a somemore in high school but yes it was very expensive and we had dental insurance and I also had braces all and all without insurance it was about 15,000 dollars but I paid about 5,000 because of my parents dental insurance.
Lucky girl I wish my mom had insurance
No I'm trying to get it tho threw my work but you have to work 35 hours a week on average and they only give you 30 so they don't have to give you insurance I ask and ask to get more but they wouldn't so I'm trying now wisconsin's insurance plan BadgerCare so it can help with doctor bills and appointments atleast
Cost I'm unsure of.
I would fix the deviated septum first and the overbite afterwards, it will provide a better chance at "rediculously straight teeth"
Good luck
How so?
The deviated septum is regarding your nose. They use the facial alignment of facial features to judge where your teeth should be positioned. To correct your overbite - I did a little research, they may want to break your jaw to realign it =/ Speak with a dentist about your question, they would know best ^_^
I had braces and a broken nose, which had an effect on how straight my teeth were- with the broken nose, my teeth looked crooked. Now that my nose is fixed, my teeth look great =)
