Well, I come from a family with 4 girls, so I love the whole "big family" thing. After growing up with 3 sisters, I couldn't imagine having a family with only 1 or 2 children; it would be too quiet, lol! So I want anywhere from 3 to 5 kids, depending on how able my husband and I are to support a family of that size.
Hmm...I really love kids!!! I work at a camp with kids.. they light up your day no matter what... so when I get married ..i am definitely having 3 kids!!!
I chose 1-2 because I definitely want one kid.. but id have to admit if I don't have at least 2 I think the one would get lonely. In my family.. there are 4 kids, 3 guys, 1 girl ( that's me ) So maybe 3 would be better because everybody loves all the chaos going on in my house.. there is never any quiet.. never. and I wouldn't change it for the world. So I think that 3 kids is ideal but I would have to have only 1 kid when I was younger.. I just want to party a lot but I want to be a young mommy, and I kind of have an eating disorder.. sometimes I will starve myself when I think I look a little overweight so I'm not sure if I could really have a kid for the simple fact I might get really depressed over gaining the weight.
1 or 2 but even though I have to physically have them, my beau is gonna play a big part in how many, it isn't just up to me- he has to be there and take care of them too, so if he wants three ok, or is set on just one then I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. It's like names I find it kind of funny sometimes how people have their kids names picked out, but they are single or just with a boyfriend not like with the one they are gonna have kids with or pregnant. You have to always take in to consideration your other half b/c it isn't just you any more :)
I picked none..cause right now I watch my sisters kids and they make me not want to have any when I get older. its like the best birth control you could ever give some young girl.
Some times I think at most two. That way my wife and I wouldn't be adding to the overpopulation problem the world is having. Other times I think it would be wrong to not carry out each pregnancy. I have names picked out for three, though, so. I guess three ;)
I'll be honest about myself. I would not want kids until I could support them and could leave them a legacy. I skipped going to a 4 year college to pursue a job and build a nest egg for my future family. I see myself in the future settling down and having some rugrats. 1 to 2. Sending them to private school and having them a backyard/frontyard instead of an apartment playground. I want them to grow up better than I did and live better and not have to worry about things I had to worry about.
One boy and one girl is enough for me. I want to be able to do all the things dads do with their sons and daughters but I don't want an out of control household either. Plus, 18-20 years at home is enough of my life as it is, any more than 2 kids and you're in it for the long haul.
I picked 3-4 because I came from a big family in three generations our family size is over 200.. which is a lot and from me I have 30 first cuzes on one side.
Kids are great I want to have as many as I can or that my wife will give me. I just have to make sure I can afford them, kids are expensive and I want them to have all the best.
