Is there any truth to that? (I never really noticed)
I saw your question and I asked my health teacher about it. She said this is true and false. She said with an electric razor, it tends to get more coverage than a manual razor would. In average, the hair grows back the same. She said though that depending on what type of electric razor you get, it can get deeper to the hair roots. But not much, because both types of razors still only get the hair off the top. It doesn't kill the source of the hair growth which is why the hair keeps coming back. She said electric razors are probably better because you are more likely to get all of your legs/face whatever you are shaving than just shaving with yourself and being likely to skip a whole patch of hair. She said the reason part of this is a myth because with a regular razor you may skip some hair and not realize it. Then you will notice the next day or so there is some hair there and think "hm that grew back fast" and not even realize you never shaved it in the first place. Sorry I didn't explain that as well as she did, hope I helped though!
An ideas on how to make the hair thicker when it grows back?
It doesn't seem to be going any thicker anymore so I don't really get a stubble.
There really isn't much you can do about that. it is based on your genes mainly but also a little bit on your diet. diets high n fiber tend to have thicker longer faster growing hair.
Hmm. . .interesting
Thanks I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes :-)
