Personally I'm more into tomboy-type girls. I'm into guy things like cars and motorcycles, action movies and science fiction. She'd have to be into that stuff as well or else we'd have nothing in common. Plus jewelry bugs me and I'm allergic to perfumes and colognes, soo.
You find me a girl who would rather have a turbo kit for her car or a new Shoei motorcycle helmet for her birthday instead of a piece jewelry, and I will devote myself to her for life =P
Well as for me, I prefer girly-girls. I like girls that are 100% girls - girls that like wearing frayed short jean skirts; long hair or in a pony tail, or high heel sandals or flip-flops, or tight jeans or short shorts. stuff like that. These kind of girls can be very sporty girls too and a girly-girl makes a very good cheerleader. lol! That doesn't mean I don't like girls that are somewhat tomboy-ish, just that that isn't my preference.
girly girls - yes, yes. Tomboy-ish girls are probably thought of as girls easier to 'pick-up' or it takes a mild degree of perversion for a guy to be attracted to a tom-boyish girl in the long term.
It really depends on the guy. Some guys like girly girls some like tomboy's. It's just important to stay true to yourself and don't try to be something you are not.
Personally I think guys should take interest in tomboys considering the fact that girly girls are just way too girly and as well they care way too much on how they look (no offense) while tomboys don't care, but still do, just not showing it as much - 5 months ago

It all really depends on the guy. There are guy who love girls to be more so over the feminen side and then there are guys who love a girl to be in the "tomboy" persona. Its all about preference.
Just be what you feel most comfortable in - whether it be the persona of a girly - girl or a tomboy.
