To tell you the truth it does not matter what shoes you wear to the gym. Your there to work out like every body there. Not to see what shoes your wearing.
I don't really pay attention to brand names, I'd be more taken aback if you didn't have shoes on at all :)
Wearing running shoes would be advisable if you play on running on the treadmill a lot. That's pretty much the only reason to have them at a gym. For those that don't do any running at a gym, I've seen all kinds of shoes, even a few guys who have the flat/unlaced shoes who just lift weights.
I won't comment on the stylistics aspect of your footwear choice . But, I do advise that you invest in a pair of good runners (these days companies are making all kinds of runnings shoes in various funky colors and designs, that also support your feet and mold to your foot -- it's not just those plain ol' white shoes) . In the longterm, proper shoes for proper activities will save your feet in the longterm . ! Next time your at the sports/running store ask for some advice for what footwear would be most appropriate for the sports your playing . I am positive you will find something funky, but functional . :)
The most important thing to think about is whether they'll support your feet. Most people, except for those (admittedly awesome) ones who love leggings and hoodies and basketball shorts, don't worry about style at the gym.
Well sista, you need support and I don't think those offer a lot of support for working out and running. But, who cares what is right and what the others think. Wear what you want.
I've trained to be a professional athlete, and my style outside of training is all stars, and slip ons and all of that scene/punk type stuff. Don't wear shoes like that to the gym. You are only going to get shin splints or mess your muscles up. You need to invest in a good pair of running shoes to support your feet/arches. The gym isn't about your personal style. You check that at the door. Buying the proper shoe is only going to help your performance and prevent you from unfriendly occurrences that happen when you wear the wrong kind of shoes. Hope that helps you!
No, don't worry about it! Running shoes are advisable because of the added support they give, but in terms of people's views on it, screw them. Don't let them make you feel uncomfortable!
I don't think so, it depends what you match it with. Vanz are comfortable and cute. Go for it. Converse. Can't help you. I personally don't like that style so I would never wear them, but if you want to y shouldn't you?
Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My first ideal date could simply be out to dinner and then a movie or it could just be going over his place and watching a movie or doing something. I don't really care what we do as long as we have fun. either way id wear something nice. probably a black mini skirt and a tight white tanktop with lace and with a shirt over it and definitely cute black shoes. and the date would end with a kiss.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
After the date he would know that I'm nice, fun to be around, sweet, funny, confident, and cute.
And the picture I know I was at work, waitressing.
