Why do some guys feel compelled to wear bandanas and sweatbands?

I mean... do they think they look cool? Do they sweat a lot?

Are they trying to hide unsightly scars and bald spots?

I think it's like wearing a cap for them. Just a head dress, when I was a teen I always had my cap on my head where ever I went, my dad hated it lol. In my head I thought it made me look cool, maybe they are thinking the same thing, I do hope they grow out of it.

I'm wearing a bandana right now. I like having something on my head, it doesn't get overheated like a toque does, it's relatively uncommon around where I am, I'm alright with the way it looks, and why does it matter?

my church youth group does a lot of mission work (construction work & such) and that's the only time I've seen guys with bandanas around their foreheads. looks good to me :)

a style that I personally am not a fan of...but it's their decision.

Depends on the person but a lot of people do it for style
