A friend of mine said it makes people look like slobs, personally I don't see a problem in it. I mean if you enjoy soccer and want to support a team by wearing their jersey then that's cool, I haven't had one since I was a kid, but now I'm getting back into soccer and was thinking of getting one for days there is a game on.

I wear them on a near constant basis in addition to band t-shirts and black fitted button-up shirts. If they look neat on you than far be it from others to make a judgment on you or your taste in clothing; that kind of logic that wearing a jersey making you look slovenly is idiotic given that any other garment could do the same if it were stained, creased etc.
Speaking for myself, I have an immense collection of new and retro jerseys and I tend to wear a tighter fit in those to accentuate my build. I think I look great in them-I'm told as much also by others so I'll take that and keep doing what I do. As for the others who don't like it-they're the least of my concerns and don't even register as a blip on my proverbial radar.1
