My boyfriend thinks he's a superhero, is that weird?

So apparently, my boyfriend thinks that he's a superhero... superman or sth like that. and he told me he dreams about saving the world and stuff. I mean for me I think it's weird since he's like 19... but I mean guys have that kinda side right? (according to what I've heard lol) do you guys think he's weird? or just very nerdy..? or is it normal that some guys can be like that?

Every guy dreams about going on some kind of wild adventure in which he emerges as the hero, so yes, guys do have that side to them. It would REALLY be weird if he were to start running around the city in a silly outfit with red underwear on the outside, but at this point, it sounds more like him just being a bit nerdy. I don't know the situation, so he may be taking it a bit too far, but I wouldn't worry about him keeping a secret identity, donning a cape, and leaping tall buildings in a single bound...yet :-P For all you know, he could be Batman (no superpowers, but lots of awesome gadgets).

P.S:

Tell him domino masks work best, usually if you decide to wear a helmet of some type, it just gives the criminals more to grab, and makes your face very prone to knee smashes.

Oh wow. Well tell him he's not alone. I saw an episode of wife swap once and one of the husbands believed they were a superhero too. The sad part was that he believed he could fly. The replacement wife told him to fly over the tree and he always said he didn't feel like it as a cop out lol.

This is exactly why guys need to keep their hopes and dreams TO THEMSELVES! A guy starts opening up to his girlfriend about his goals and aspirations, and the next thing you know, she's on GAG talking about his "weird" dreams...

And according to what you've said, he doesn't actually think that he is a superhero. He merely dreams sometimes of saving folks and being a positive impact in the community. He's not actually putting on a cape and mask and leaping rooftop to rooftop. Once he regularly starts dressing up in a Spandex outfit with a logo on the chest IN REAL LIFE, then...then you can worry.
