Girls... do you get cravings while on your period?

Okay so lately I've realized that I get incredibly hungry at random times when I'm on my period. It's 11pm and I'm starving for something to eat. Does this happen to you too?

When you lose that amount of blood, your body needs the proper nutrients to restore it. Many girls actually go temporarily anemic when they have their period so it's pretty normal to crave iron and sugar rich foods to replenish the blood. I'm anemic myself so it makes sense.

Yep. I prep with milk or chocolate milk or chocolate like doomsday is coming. I crave milk and chocolate when I am on it.

Yes! I feel starving all the time on my period and will literally eat anything... as if I'm pregnant!

yup. my weight jumps by about 8 pounds every week i have my period between eating so much and bloating but then goes right back down like 3 days later.

Yes I get annoying cravings and insomnia. I am craving chicken balls dipped in sweet and sour sauce.
