Layering?

I tend to like wearing a fair amount of layers when I am trying to look my best. Right now I got a wild button down with a striped long sleeve shirt with a button v-neck, a light earthy hoodie, and a funky denim suit jacket. Is layering good or does it look tacky?

LAYERING IS AWESOME! But it depends also on how you do it.

Its so cool that you are going from a printed shirt to a denim jacket and placing almost everything in between! I think knowing when to edit is key and tailoring to your body. Watch out for thickness because you don't want to look bulky and lumpy in all the wrong places.

Taking a risk with your clothes is beyond awesome! It definitely shows girls that you like to make sure you look good and you care what you look like! *high-five*

It looks good if everything fits reasonably close to your body. Some guys leave the hoodie part too loose and it ends up looking sloppy. Also make sure not to use too many different colors. I'm not quite sure if I understand you description... If you have five layers, then that is probably too many.

It doesn't add. It just kind of throws the outfit in another direction.

as long as it's well put to gether, it's fine. I layer lots too . I live in cold weather so but I also wear a lot of dresses, whenever I can or skirts so I will do layering to look goo dand also stay warm
