Why is my hair falling out?

My hair is thick and quite wavy, it's at mid-back length. Since may, my hair is falling out and when I brush it, it's worse.
We always have hair falling, I know but now it's really a lot. My mother and my sister also have the same problem since may. We don't know why, there wasn't any stressful event, no change in our way of life. My hair is still really thick though.

Why do you think that my hair is falling out?

See a doctor and maybe try switching shampoo and condiner and maybe not washing your hair as much. And i don't brush my hair when it's wet and only when I fixing my hair or just woke up. And don't use bleach or hair color at all. Try to advoid all hot tools too.

My hair started falling out bc I curled it every day and washed it everyday and brushed if when it was wet. I stopped doing that and it quit falling out. Now if I do fix my hair I straighten it and not wash it the next few days.

Could be diet. Make sure you take a multivitamin, take vitamin e, and exercise. That is also symptomatic of a thyroid problem.

Have you dyed or bleached or dyed your hait lately? That can be the cause.

I have never dyed my hair, though my mother does and she loose my hair than us. She is also have a thyroid problem but not us.

That's weird that it happened suddenly and at the same moment for all of us.

maybe it's the weather, i know when it gets warm, my hair falls out more than usual. you could also need to get a haircut, maybe it's dead hair that is falling out
