I voted for infectious disease as heart disease and cancer cannot be passed from one person to the other. The majority of diseases are preventable including cancers. A lot of our sicknesses are a result of lifestyle choices. Some cancers are genetic depending on your family's history but other than that you can prevent them. An infectious disease, especially something that is airborne we can prevent yes, but they do spread and sometimes can spread rapidly.

Cancer kills a lot of people and a lot of young people and destroys families. A cure for cancer would be amazing, heart disease is easily avoidable, infectious diseases can be prevented. But anyone can get cancer.
Lmao, the one that isn't population control gets the least amount of votes.
Cancer is our environment telling us we aren't living right, at the expense of our planet and ourselves.
infectious diseases is our environment telling us we are too many, too close, and we are not living right.
Infectious and parasitic diseases are by far the worst. They kill young people in great numbers. Cancer seems worse to people in developed countries because infectious diseases are controlled, but really cancer is a first world problem.

Infectious diseases need to be solved. Think HIV. There's a few experimental vaccines available, but HIV and AIDS are responsible for killing a lot of people per-year.
Infectious disease- just because of the fact that most people die of it, and another reason is that research into this would have gains in treating all the above mentioned diseases...
I vote for cancers because learning about different cancers can teach us a lot! They all act differently and no 2 cancers are alike, so knowing about them will help with other problems.
I say cancer.
And the more we research HIV, the longer the infected people survive, and particularly in the gay community that leads to higher rates of infection... meaning it's counterproductive.Ebola cause all those things are already world wide.
HIV. We're so close, I believe a cure can be found in the next ten years.
We should focus the two major killers in the industrialized world - cancer and heart disease.
Iinfectious disease mostly kills people in 3rd world countries and they don't matter.Cancer for sure I've lost way too many people from that disease
Cancer - because the rest are already easily fixable.
Heart disease, since it's the leading cause of death.
But money will go to breast cancer instead.Heart disease since that is responsible for most deaths out of those. And it seems more likely to find fixes to it than cancer.
I just want to see a world without STI's&D's haaha
Allif them the same. And much more diseases too
You can't cure cancer so why fund it.
Mostly keeping the race for breast cancer rolling.
