I've been working out for a month and the left side has developed beautifully but the right side looks the same as I did when I started.
How do I fix this and what am I doing wrong?
Alright... is one leg shorter than the other would be my first question. My second would be the pictures themselves... compare the pictures and the breast sizes seem to be off as well. Maybe a sight angle difference or there's a difference there too.
3rd, any injuries?
I would suggest one legged squats (with dumbbells of course) and dead lifts to 'give a lift' to the side that is deficient.
See as humans, we tend to just use the side that does a task the best. It's why most of us don't bother to use our other hand in writing and thus it looks like a child's handwriting when we start trying. Speaking from experience here, I now write just fine in cursive with my left hand as well... it was just an experiment to see if I could. As a armchair bodybuilder, I would tell you size differences are easily fixed (and common). Notice I assumed dumbbells are the norm for this earlier, but think about it, a barbell would allow you to shift your body into a position where one side would take the brunt of the weight. Old habits die hard... so fix it or kill it. Proper form is such an issue partly because one can easily become the opposite of symmetrical... plus the aspect of injury.
But it's a normal human behavior though. Neanderthals had an enlarged side of the body (usually the right) and it's believed that that was the side they used their spears with. Unlike us frail humans that shoot little arrows they would get face first with the likes of a Mammoth or a Wooly Rhino with a thick spear. Good times.
Hmu with a pm and I'll guide you through it.
Ok first of all, our bodies are never symmetrical. So don't bother worrying about this. Plus, unless you show a guy this specific picture and ask him, there's a 99% chance he would not tell the difference. A lot of girls I know have said their boobs are uneven, but what guy is really going to care all that much?
For what it's worth, and I'm really not trying to be a creep. But your butt looks great and if I was a dude and you never showed me this pic, I would never have noticed. You have a nice body, embrace it lol. Hope you don't worry too much about this
Your answer is so annoying. Glute imbalances can cause other problems like lower back pain and joint pain, so it’s really useless to say something like “nobody’s perfect, you look great, embrace it” because she’s actually looking for a solution to a serious issue. She asked for an answer to the problem, not for compliments.
@omarissa Oh god I can't agree with you more... I gave a answer with now blatant compliments and just life to life knowledge and once I hit send, best answer was picked already... and it was this crap.
If I just wanted to make rank in this app/website, I'd now just give compliments at the next question of unequal tits. "Oh god baby, those are so nice" and bla bla bla.
My question to question asker..."why?" He didn't even suggest a fix to an issue except "don't worry, you're fine already"... did asker just need some compliments or solutions?
Try the 2:1 method. Instead of each set being an equal amount of reps on both sides, you’ll do twice the amount of reps on your weaker side. Do reps of single leg glute exercises first with your weaker side, then with your dominant side, then again on your weaker side to complete the set.
For example, you can do an exercise like leg lifts, with 3 sets. Each set consists of 12-15 reps. So you would do 12-15 reps on your right side, 12-15 reps on the left, and 12-15 again on the right to complete one set.
Hope this helps!
Forgot to add that continuing to do butt exercises and hope that it balances out, as some people are suggesting, isn’t smart. The longer you continue to do even numbers of reps on each side, the greater the imbalance will become. Glute imbalances are associated with lower back and other joint pain, and poor posture.
I have the same problem too and I've been told that it's from focusing on one side more than the other. Try and do more on the right side to help even things out.
Have you been focusing on the left more? Aka doing more reps on the left than the right
Not that I'm aware of 😞
Maybe that was it. Try focusing on your right more now. Do less reps for the left side until you can even them out
Thanks I've been trying that but no results yet. I'll keep doing that though!
This one was a good answer. I agree with this top pick. Bumps.
The male top pick is just a sycophant in my opinion.

I dont really notice it. I would work out your legs and butt more. As the muscles develop, they will become even. This is because their will be a lack of strength on one side and it will thusly be worked harder.
I can definitely see it. Do you feel you've been uneven with your squats or whatever it is you're doing? I mean, it doesn't look bad, but there's definitely a difference. Why not try an advice from a trainer? And if it worries you that much you can also see a rheumatologist. Could be a minor thing with that specific butt cheek or smth
Wow, that's striking. Do more donkey kicks with higher weights on your right side until it is evened out.
You probably have a pelvic shift (this has to do with your hips being in the wrong position) Do you find one leg is slightly longer than the other? Do you get pain on one side and not the other?
You probably favor your left leg so the right one isn't working out as much. You should focus on using both legs and maybe do exercises with just your right leg for now. Your body still looks nice
It's barely noticeable. Are you sure it's not the way you are standing?
That's interesting. You might be slightly unbalanced when working out.
it's barely noticeable... you have a great looking body and a nice ass, you shouldn't worry about that. nobody would have noticed if you hadn't told :)
your being way to obsessive about this, no will will notice or care but you.
Your body is very attractive. The only difference I see could easily be in the lighting.
Just accept it as a fact. No guy will probably ever notice it.
First hands now cheek size... noooooooooo
STAHP PANICKING THERE IS LIKE NO DIFFERENCE
I NEVER would have noticed if you jadn't pointed ot out
Turn the other cheek lol.
can't see any difference your over thinking it
Doesn't look much differnet to me, one leg squat?
if you work out.. you're favoring one side.
Maybe one leg is slightly longer than the other?
I don't notice, they look alike.
I dont see a diffrence.
