Ants in my pants: Why does it feel like there are ants biting me?

As a part-time job I work in a landscape company. Today we were cleaning out this person's garden and it required a lot of rock moving. Most of the rocks had ant colonies under them so I ended up getting some on my body and every couple minutes I had to slap one off of me. Well, as soon as I got home I took a shower and washed them all of but what's weird is that I still have the sensation that there are ants biting me. It's getting to be very annoying to be slapping at nothing so I was wondering if someone could tell me why I am feeling this and what is causing it.

Okay, I don't feel it anymore but thank you for your time and answers. I still don't know what is making me feel this way but I think its because of the bites.

No it's not sweat because I am having this sensation after my shower.
