Does anyone know much about strokes?

Just the basics. A stroke, being a blood clot in a blood vessel in the brain, usually manifests itself in difficulty in everyday things. Like people talking to you no longer understandable, or paralysis on one side of your body, or not being able to talk coherently.
Usually you can tell because there's some permanent damage as parts of the brain cut off from blood died. My grandmother's first stroke she was lucky, she came out unscathed. But her second one, she was left partially blind.
Strokes happen when a clot prevents blood flow to the brain or part of the brain. This deprivation of oxygen, if not treated very quickly results in the paralysis and on occasion, cognitive damage that are commonly seen. In certain cases, longitudinal rehab can help someone regain most physical abilities. As for knowing if someone has had a stroke after successful rehabilitation, it's next to impossible.

well then a stroke killed my 8 year old cousin and I had a minny stroke a year ago (when I was 15) wasn't too bad or anything I was paying for some stuff at the store and I got really light headed and everything went spotted and black and I almost fell over but my friend grabbed me and pulled me to the side... I just sat down for about 5 min then I was good. it was a minny stroke or a damn intense acid flashback.. either way it was intense
