HA, honestly unless you can afford liposuction and a tummy tuck, you HAVE to work out and eat right. Its simple math, you burn more calories than you consume. 3500 calories = one lb lost. I've been on a strict diet of eating under 1100 calories a day and burning 2500. Some might consider this starvation mode, BUT it worked for me. I ran a 1/2 marathon, trained for it, ate on a strict diet and lost 25lbs, lost all my baby weight from 2 pregnancies plus some. I feel great! Working out releases endorphins, endorphins make you happy.

Not really, I am doing the same thing and it's working for me. I think starving yourself is if you live off carrots or nothing at all. As long as you're getting the right types of food in your diet you should be fine. I think you are doing the right thing. I actually want to try a marathon too, but I have a hard time running but I'm going to try. It's weird, because I can hike, rock climb, go for very long walks, bike, but I can't run.

my best advice to give you is to help build up your endurances for running. Intervals are the best to enhance this. Start out doing say 7 min walking, 3-5 min jogging. Do this for at least a week, then up the running minutes and lower the walking minutes. soon it should be dead even with say 10 min walking, 10 min running then lower the walking, say 5 min walking and 10 min running. it helps.

Well your only two options would be lipo, or gastric bypass surgery. Neither however, will help you much if you refuse to be healthy.

If you won't eat right OR work you, you simply change what you consider fat and then say you're skinny. Boom. Problem solved.
