6.9K opinions shared on Other topic. If anything I leave a door open, as to not be too
isolated, I generally love horror movies though, I don't
remember the last time they really scared me, outside
of jump scares.
My favorite horrors include movies featuring some form
of ghost, preferably creepy children.. that
or mutant/post apocalyptic sort of movies
kinda like Chernobyl Diaries.
I'm always looking for new horror movies to watch
as I look for those who could potentially frighten me.
If you have any recommendations, I'd
be happy to hear them. ^.~01 Reply

I like watching horror movies alone. I watch it really late with lights off and volume up. I like the thrill. I wouldn't do nothing.

Lol nope wouldn't even worry about trying. I'd just be snoring haha. Movies are so exaggerated with nuances people wouldn't do.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI watch horror films A LOT, at any time of the day, alone or with people... nothing ever scares me.
I really love them though, but they just don't scare me anymore.
One horror film scared me ages ago, "The Exorcist". I haven't even been scared by that one in a long time though.
What I usually do for my niece when she's afraid after a horror film is turn on something goofy and funny immediately after. It seems to work.21 Reply

Its fun to watch a scary movie with thriller climax as long as u hav ur family member or frnds by ur side:) I watched "woods" when I was in 5th grade with my gal frnds on night stay. V were alone at night n suddenly lights went out. Believe me I still laugh remembering d day when v got scared:)
- +1 y
Haha omg I watched 'a nightmare on elm street' with my bestie just before we went on a school trip to the woods for six days and both of us were terrified! It was so good though because all out other friends couldn't work out why we were jumpy and when we calmed down we scared them all

01 Replyi'll keep all the lights on, the movie bgm at a minimum, i'd also keep a great distance from the tv. i just hate horror films, i get nightmares afterwards XD
01 Replyyeah, it would be awesome to do that, even though I don't think I would freak out in this situation. Im not the kind of person who gets scared by movies. but still, it would be awesome

11 ReplyHoly shit I would grab my kitchen knife by my side. If you think about it, all alone in an abandoned house in a forest at midnight... anyone who says they wouldn't be scared is lying
15 ReplyI keep my cat close.
Animals react to sound/movement better than us. If they suddenly become receptive to something suspicious i know there's trouble.07 Reply- +1 y
Animals, especially cats interpret intense staring as a sign of aggression.
If you want to signal your cat you mean her no harm or like her then close your eyes repeatedly slowly.
If she does the same while looking to you in turn it means she acknowledges.
Baby talk + closing your eyes like that can turn most cat belly up and ready to be rubbed :)

Opinion Owner+1 yYes but less frequently. You can't think about two things in the same time. So if I am thinking about what I read, I can distract myself. While it's difficult for me to sleep in those siuations, because while I'm trying to fall asleep my mind goes there
watch the movie and go on my laptop on the same time.
