I don't know why people say Asian guys are short I think it's because they count Asians that are from like 3rd world countries whose ancestors didn't have good nutrition and stuff. The average height for men in U.S. is a little over 5'9" the average height for men in South Korea is like 5'8"... It isn't much of a difference!
I have a couple Asian guy friends who are around 6' or over and people are ALWAYS surprised by their height for some reason.
There is nothing...like "tall for an Asian guy" people are tall and short it doesn't matter the race...I would know because even though I am mostly black my mom has filipino heritage and her brother's and cousin's are like 5'4" to like 6'3" it just depends on genes...
And you are perfect...i love 5/8 guys because I am 5/5 or 5'4.5" so it would work. You are still on the tall side for me so...good enough.
I would totally date a guy who is 5'8'' and to be honest I wouldn't date anyone over 5'10'' because I'm only 5'1'' which is super short. I have dated a guy that was 6'2'' and that is just way too tall for me.

For an Asian guy no ,Asians been always kinda short .For a white dude YES! he's gotta be 6'2
