No one has authority over each other and everyone can call himself/herself part of the movement.

To be Mexican, you MUST be born in Mexico, and presumably have a Mexican line of heritage. There are no qualifications to be a feminist. You do not have to be born in a certain place, look a certain way, go through training, whatever dude. Heritage and nationality is based on facts. A political or social identity can be claimed.
