Whether it's a mutual breakup, they move state or country, or any other circumstance when you can't see or talk to them anymore, that door stays open.. meaning it's really hard to get over them.
When you end something on bad terms, that door is closed and you can get over them easily and forget about them.
I had a really good relationship with a girl i knew, but we had to part ways for certain reasons and i haven't seen or spoken to her in 2 years, and i really miss her. We both cried when we said our goodbyes and two years later, i'm still not over her... i just hope fate brings us back together again.

i had the same situation and it sucks even more then getting dumped. the problem is that you didn't get closure. i think you should talk to her , and talk how you feel , maybe she has moved or in new relationship , or even things will gonna workout just fine, but either away you will have your answers to all questions , and you will be able to finally move on, because right now you are going nowhere.
