You are at the greatest risk of unexpected divorce at middle age (you are at the pinnacle successful career and your kids are in high school).

She can eviscerate you, brainwash your children and relieve you of all the fruits of your profession, education and decades of commitment and hard work. Your best choices are to not patrol that road when you KNOW IED's are present, at all. If you are already in the trap, begin Preparations (more later) starting when your kids hit puberty. If your preparations end up not needed, they can always be added to your retirement or your kids' career training fund.
